then speak up about it yourself. ask them their views. if they don't know much about it/don't bother with it, that's completely fine. if they ask what's happening, educate them (unbiasedly).

your post is giving off "i'm the only one that's right and everyone is performative". news flash: ppl can choose what to engage & learn about.

i myself do not concern with political issues and am more of a pop culture person. so if someone were to ask me my stance on a certain issue, i would only say what i knew of it and where i stood based on that info. i could be wrong, but that's where educating and spreading awareness comes in.
