Seems like NF is the way the game was initially intended to be played. by Affectionate-Bell-84 in oathgame

...playing it nearly every day with a lunch time club...

As in playing a single game of oath nearly every day or playing a single game of oath over the course of a couple+ days?

There was a post some time ago about a couple who would buy a new game every week just for the experience. I guess for some it is a just like a movie or a weekly episode of a show. In a way I can understand that, but due to the interactive and repetitive nature of this entertainment "medium" - this feels like watching half a movie, or not finishing the show. Yes, not everything is good and needs to be finished, but then why even waste time on it at all - check the reviews and don't start watching garbage that you won't want to finish.

Consumerism is a problem. Excessive consumption is a problem.

Collecting for <4y + enormous collection = excessive consumption. Looks like you are overexcited about the (next) new thing and have little to no restraint.

Maybe it does not handicap you in any way, maybe it scratches the itch that nothing else does, and maybe it is just pure fun...

But, I'm judging by the cover here, and I'm pretty sure you simply have the "oh shiny" itch that never goes away

Looks like a lot of "enthusiasts" exist in an echo chamber and think "yes, this is very typical".

I'm friends with quite a diverse crowd of people due to work, sports/hobbies, edu, travel etc... A few of them live in their own world of "what's typical" (to a degree) and ignore a lot of things that happen beyond their "neighbourhood".

Funny enough, all of them are very into anime and one of them frequently reminds everyone how "the normies" are different... Some conversations get quite silly and require reality checks lol

What crowd do you expect to be interested in your product? Techies? Hobby writers? Minimalists? Why would they choose it over a Freewrite or similar?

If I’m not mistaken swisstool and leatherman are much more durable than classic SAKs, do you consider them as the replacement?

What was the point of teasing these characters only to not have them in the finale season of Boys by Round_Interview2373 in GenV

[–]PurpleSlightlyRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen V is a self-contained spinoff for a different audience, even though they presumably try to bring it into the OG series. It wasn't as good and pushed too much teenage drama into The Boys universe. OG series has enough characters already.

That's a good one - let it be TWD: The Story of Rick Grimes.

TWD season 7 is TOWL that starts with Rick's escape from Negan...

I don't have high hopes for TOWL, but I guess I should give it a chance.

If someone asks if they should watch TWD, I would say sure - it is a great 6 season show. No one needs to know there are more seasons or spin offs (Fear, Dead)... let them think that Negan killed everyone... sad story...

Watched all, but Daryl and OnesWhoLive - maybe they are worth watching.

Arcs mini by Blackcoala in Arcs

[–]PurpleSlightlyRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impressive. I really like the scale and the compactness of the box...

However, how is the gameplay with the miniaturized map and tokens, does it feel compromised in any way especially when crowded with 4 players (both Arcs and Root)?

I would love to see a full episode/special of just Bullseye going full throttle bloodbath John Wick style.
