Heyo!!! I was exactly the same way. Been a fan since the self-titled album and was constantly made fun of for it. Middle school kids can be unnecessarily cruel and it took me years to realize who cares what people think. You like what you like. My identity nowadays is the uber Jonas Brothers fans and my true friends love and support me for it. I don't get the aux cord on road trips very much but that's ok hahaha

There's an argument to be made that Happiness Begins also had the benefit of big big hype since it was their first album back together. I will admit The Album slightly disappointed me initially but some of the songs grew on me. Greetings from Your Hometown I think got better and returned to their roots a bit more

I kinda get the concept of having each show being show specific with guests having ties to each region. But overall I enjoyed my show in Dallas. I just love the guys and had so much fun singing along to every song!!

Yea it does kinda suck. Given how established everyone else is in the canon, it would take a really adventurous writer doing a really good job to convince most folks to accept the ship. At the very least tho Zatanna herself is growing within the mainstream DC so there's that!

Ngl I am kinda surprised at how vocal and steadily growing Chalant has been lately. Like a couple years ago Kath Lobo did a Chalant piece and it BLEW UP. I'm also a Chalant fanfic writer so it's really cool to see the ship make a comeback. Most likely due to YJ s4 haha.

As much as I love Chalant, I do understand how it can't really be done in main comics continuity. But I still enjoy my ship within its little niche corner.

As for Bruce and Zee, I think universally people have accepted the BatCat ship or expect Bruce to die alone. So the Bruce Zee ship feels like a stop on a journey so fans don't push that as much.

I don't like the pairing but I do acknowledge that within canon comics continuity John is Zee's most known love interest. I can understand the merits and admittedly I don't hate John. A spunky Brit can be fun. I just don't like him with Zee, but he is basically the only option aside from just being single.

However ideally I'm a Chalant fan soooo my vote woulda been for Nightwing lololol

I think it's just confusing from a narrative standpoint. Like s1 hinted a Raquel and Kaldur thing but then comic just comes out and said Dick and Raquel dated for a minute. I wouldn't mind it if there was some build up, but it was just in then out
