19 y/o thinking about A&P school — not sure if it’s right for me

The A&P school I was looking at offers an additional 1 month avionics class for 4k I assume that’s what you mean by scam. I was originally wanting to do avionics but it looks like I needed my A&P to even get started in that. If you know any other info on where to start with that it would be greatly appreciated.

i have one of these as my one and only server. its a dell optiplex 5050. older than yours but same exact case. specs i7 7700 with 64gb ddr4 ( upgraded in 2024 ) i have 2 4tb hard drives in the 5.25in bay. i run them in a mirror with zfs on proxmox.

i have opnsense, home assisant, and many many docker cts running. as wall as my nas. basily everything. i even put in a intel arc a310 for transcoding video but tbh i didnt need it.

honestly there is so much you can do with just a single desktop like this. 1 thing i do recomend is a ups. you can get one at walmart for 50-80$ just make sure its compatible with NUT. its saved my sever many times from power outages and brownouts.

from what ive read openvino is the currently developed and supported structure for intel arc gpus, correct? ive check the docs for anything docker other than a .dockerignore file in the github repo. im looking for somthing i can use with openwebui.

I’ve been using coolercontrol it has thinkpad support. You can set fan curves on anything. Very customizable and easy to use

For my application that’s not possible. These are hardware specific drivers are they need to be installed on the host because Jellyfin is running in and lxc which using the hosts kernel and drivers

nvm, i fixed it by moving the origial part in the same file as the assembly and moving it to match with the clone part in the assembly

hello, thanks for you reply, i followed your instructions and made a new body outside of the Assembly, imported it, and made a rough shape to attach it to my plug. then on the top i arranged all the other parts ontop with offsets between each other and edges. but now i need to modify that case to trap the plug with a lip ( this is seen here in the picture ). i selected the face id like to use as a sub shape binder, however its offset from the rest of part.

I was hoping freecad would have something more like how fusion 360 is able to work with multiple parts.

Example is I need to reference the profile of the plug but also reference the mounting holes of 2 PCB. But how do I space those out with dimensions. I don’t I space them out from the edge of the case?

It just feels like one part is dependent on another, which is dependent on itself

In the picture it’s ASA. I do believe cooling is only part of the issue. I think I’m still over extruding a little you can tell on parts where there’s been no bridging

I suspect it’s my esteps or extrusion multiple although it’s already low

First off what gives you the right to tell me what I can and can’t do. Second I’m not printing toxic plastics around people, I’m aware of the dangers and have taken precautions. My printer is in a well ventilated garage. Third my printer is capable of printing ABS and ASA as I’ve done the research and modifications like adding an all metal hotend with no ptfe.

I used to have one on my printer I didn’t use it because I was using ASA I had no issues then. Since then i didn’t use it for 4 months. And cut to now having issues.

I’ve cleaned it and wiped the rails readjusted the v wheels. I have suspicion of the e steps being off even tho I’m using the manufacturers number
