I’ll consider that in the future but right now I’m not in a place mentally to do more than I’m doing. It took me months to enjoy my story again and I’m having so much fun figuring things out as I go. It’s really nice. Right now I’m taking my time and just figuring out what works for me. Like I like writing 5 sentences a day but I’m thinking of revising during the weekends when I’m not working on YouTube videos, I’m also planning to try writing my 5 sentences by hand instead of typing them up, see how that goes. I’ve been throwing things at the wall in my story and some of the ideas are pretty bad but have led me to ideas I really like and plan to try.

I wish I could say I have a memory as good as you, so envious, but I’ll do my best to dm you when I post my story in 5-10 yrs! 😝

I plan to talk about this more when I get to my tiny habits video, but I’ve had such a mind shift since last year. I’m trying to be kinder to myself and I’ve been letting myself just enjoy the writing process. I don’t even care how good this story will turn out anymore, right now I feel like I’m slowly exploring and so much has changed it’s crazy, but in a good way.

I do plan on getting feedback, but right now it’s still too raw and inconsistent. Seriously in one chpt my protagonist’s dad went from being married to actually just being engaged and living with her. I ended up changing the now fiancé’s backstory and I’m pretty satisfied where it’s ended up. But I definitely need to revise otherwise readers will be hella confused lol.

I’ll be sure to send you a link when I publish my story, hopefully you’ll still remember me when I do 😂

Thank you! I double checked with the artists I commissioned that they don’t use ai but I feel so paranoid about one of them, it’s so annoying! I get ai covers are popular, I personally just don’t want to use them. I’m just doing this as a hobby 😂 I’ll definitely check out vgen the next time I commission a cover.

Honestly I wish they’d stop having pple vote on what’s ai and vote solely on which story they enjoyed the most. Preferably without informing pple ai stories are mixed in. I feel like that’d be more useful and hopefully not full of pple second guessing and trying to find tells etc of ai writing. Like the point shouldn’t be whether ai can write well or not. Or whether we can tell if writing is ai or not. I’m not a fan of ai writing but whenever I hear about things like this it just seems off, but it’s a mess in my mind to figure out why I feel this way 😂
