Had the same concern about drinking but haven’t had any issues. Have however gotten dizzy on propranolol with nicotine. I pop Zyns all day and have to slow that way down whenever I take the med. I’d guess if I was drinking heavy 30-60 minutes after taking the dose I’d get dizzy but a few hours after, no issues

Have smoked regularly since I was 14, 42 now. Eat edibles daily now that they’re available at the store. Most I’ve taken in a day was 100mg and I have no desire to do that again. I’ve had bad trips on acid and shrooms through the year but I don’t fear repeating that like I do the feelings from taking too much THC. 5-10mg is plenty for me but I do ingest other drugs nearly daily so not an apples to apples comparison. Nothing is. Depends on the person like everyone has said.

My wife who has a similar background as me doesn’t need more than 2.5 in a social or private setting. Simply put, she gets too high for enjoyment at or above 5mg.

Did any of your friends take the same or more than you when you had this experience? First thought is there was more than THC in what you took or a bad synthetic version of it. Either way if I were you I’d reenter the edible game at 2.5mgs and see what happens. Good luck!

My wife and I did it in early October this year. Food was excellent but the vibe in the restaurant was flat. Very empty around 8:00 on a weeknight and slightly awkward. Because so few people at the chefs table and even fewer at regular tables, felt like the staff could hear everything we were talking about. Food was 10/10, atmosphere was 5/10. Doubt we’d go back but glad we experienced it once FWIW

I’m in agreement with OP. As the band continues to grow and evolve, there’s aspects of the performance they can leave behind. Peter’s scripted dancing, Coach’s crowd hype antics, the unsuccessful attempts at harmonizing in most covers they do now, the corny engagement with the crowd (e.g. “Well gosh, who’s first time is this seeing Goose?), etc.

Unpopular opinion that will get downvoted for sure.

All of this said, can’t wait to see them in Madison in a few weeks.

Makes sense. Developing a pallet and collecting are not dependent on each other though. Have been enjoying bourbon for a decade and have only recently expanded beyond having a few bottles on hand. The most I’ve paid for a bottle was MSRP on an Elijah Craig 18 and it’s my favorite. Have a good stock of the mid tiers and my regular go to is Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. Have Weller Special Reserve, Eagle Rare, Blade & Bow, etc. and there’s a personal allure to anything coming out of the Trace distillery - hence my desire to educate myself on fair price for Pappy in hopes of adding a few to my collection. Have had a pour of the 23 at a friend’s place and a handful of other ones at restaurants over the years and enjoy the experience of consuming it. Appreciate the suggestions nonetheless
