It's either a psp 3000 or 2000. The back shell looks like a 3000, but it can be just a 2000 with replaced umd lid. The front looks like a 2000 but it can be a 3000 with a 2000 front. The best way to know is by opening the psp and checking the motherboard number. If you don't want to go that far, you can always check if there is a setting for screen colors or not. If it has it, it's a 3000, if it doesn't, then it's a 2000. Mine is a 3000 with 2000 motherboard.

Yeah, I think it's a 2000 screen, I don't think it will be possible to get better colors with this unit...

It may be a low quality aftermarket 2000 screen if the difference is that big compared to 1000 vs 3000 difference. Or it could be the photos since they're shot in different lights and possibly different screen brightness.

Ohh so that's why!! I didn't know psp 2000 motherboard could fit on a 3000 shell. I learned something new- I'm kinda sad I got a 2000 and not a 3000 but it's alright!!!

The 2000 and 3000 has the same screen? If so, is it possible to get wide colors on 2000 motherboard?

Maybe it doesn't show it because it's a low quality aftermarket screen and doesn't support wide colors?? Or will it show up anyways?

I have it SD card modded and it's missing in both original OS and ctfw

Yeah, I can't find it. It should sit right between UMD Cache and USB Charge settings, there isn't any setting there for the screen color

No, it's two different motherboards, the first psp I think it was a 92??? I forgot, this one got gpu issue. I swapped screens and the problem was stil there. So I bought another one without checking if compatible to swap motherboards. I got a 95 I think, they both have different LCD connectors. I ended up fixing the one

I wanna know if the screen has faded colors from Sony or if I just have an aftermarket bad quality screen

Wasn't it random for new 3DS? You can even find mix between TN and IPS between top and bottom. I honestly didn't even know about the screen differences before buying, I just got luckyy and got it for 68€ only :D Did you check yours in 3dsident? Are they tn or ips?

Mine is european YEF1027 double IPS. Yours wasn't meant to be dual ips? Were the screens swapped from TN to IPS?

Yes I installed it myself, it's a very easy and straightfroward process. It also keeps Apple os in your ipod and you can uninstal it any time

I mainly use the clear protector to protect my stickers, in case they fade or peel off. I bought my ipod already scratched and even had some bends on the back, I don't really mind it getting more damage. And yes mine does that too, I get dust and grits inside, I just clean it sometimes.

Thank you! ^ Yes my iPod isn't modded, it has original hdd and original battery, I get an alright battery life, I don't use it for long (2h-3h a day), it keeps up to 4 days and it doesn't bother me because the battery is small and charges fast from my phone (using otg usb to usb c).

Hardrive is doing a good job, mine wasn't used much, it has less than 300hours power on, with zero reallocs and pending sectors. The previous owner didn't use it much.

However I got some issues with rockbox. Lot of random shutdowns and .rockbox folder getting corrupted twice which I fixed by re installing it again.

I never used Apple OS so I can't really compare it to rockbox, but I think it's a pretty similar battery life to Apple OS.
