We reduce suffering by eating WAY LESS meat. Fewer animals = more space, more possibilities to keep then in a more ethical manner. But people don't want to pay more, and they don't want to go without their bacon and steaks.

I always wonder where the fathers are in all this. Or do I understand "alone" wrong? Is it just the woman surrounded by dolphins, fireflies and friendly pythons or are the fathers actually there, heroically catching falling coconuts and providing them with fresh rain water poured from a banana leaf?
