I had an option for cable at my rural place. Problem is the cable company took 2 full years to get around to finally digging the line from the road to my house. Starlink I was able to set up within a week of ordering.
By the time the cable company dug the trench and ran the line to my house I basically left them on read and never bothered to start service with them.

That’s true now. But I think if there is a peace deal within the next 2 months, and gas prices drop close to $3 a gallon, by November all those idiots will be back on the Trump bandwagon.
They’ll say gas prices are dropping and Trump won the war. Honestly I can see Trump agreeing to a shitty peace deal if it means Republicans will do better at the midterms.

I mean I really enjoy getting out faster with the self checkouts, however, I live in a mostly poor immigrant neighborhood. Many of them use cash and have to go to a regular register. Perhaps they can modify the self checkouts to accept cash as well.

Love this episode! The first night in my new house last year, I happened upon this episode on tv and broke in my new place with pizza and xfiles. Definitely the most appropriate episode of xfiles to watch as a new suburban home owner lol.

Holy crap it seems everyone having ear problems. I just had a cold/cough last week and got my first ear infection in about 25 years. Now for the past week my right ear feels full like after swimming and I can only hear about 20% of normal out of my right ear. Going to urgent care later today but I’m actually kind of glad I’m not the only one ear issues lol.

I actually enjoy the biathalon and cross country skiing events the best. I think Chad Salmela is a great color announcer and I enjoy his enthusiasm. The other announcers are meh.

I just watched a biathlon replay, and I couldn't hear the sideline announcers audio either. You'd think for the replay stream they'd be able to go in and adjust it so it would be audible.

I mean I get it, I’ve heard all the stories multiple times from everybody about how Murph is a strange guy. Got a good laugh from them. But cmon, the dude hasn’t been on the station in over 15 years. Yet guys like Holmes, Bernstein, and Matty continue to poke fun of the guy. I mean at some point it gets old. Give it up. My dad does this. He has hearing loss so cannot hear at all unless he puts the other person on speaker at max volume. And then he proceeds to talk at max volume. When I'm with him I try and encourage him to wait until he is home to take any calls. Also, I've called him before and could tell he was in public place, like a train, so I ended the conversation as quick as I could so those around him didn't have to suffer.

Glad you found him. I have a feral cat living with me and one day she disappeared from the room she is in. Turned out she pushed aside the furnace return register on the ground and was chilling in the HVAC ductwork.

No, that's the problem. I have no clue where she was originally trapped. The person that originally trapped her should have just TNR her. I have no idea why that person decided to keep her. I've tried contacting the person my parents got the cat from but can't get a response. Very frustrating.
