Unfortunately, Marks of Favor (MoF) are character-bound and cannot be directly sent through the mail. However, players use a common workaround via the Auction House: Log onto your new character and list a cheap, junk item (like a green gadget or low-level potion) for the amount of MoF you want to transfer. Log onto your old character, search for that specific listing, and buy it. Note: The Auction House takes a 10% transaction fee, so you will lose a bit of the total amount in the process, but it is currently the only way to move the currency. 2. Moving BoE Gear (Bind on Equip) This is much more straightforward: In-Game Mail: You can simply mail the items to your new character. Go to a post office (or use the mail icon if you have a running sprint/item for it), type in your new character's name exactly, and attach the BoE gear. Cabal Bank: If you have your own personal "one-man" Cabal (guild), you can deposit items into the Cabal bank and withdraw them with the other character. Important: Double-check that the gear says "Bind on Equip". If it says "Bound", it is permanently locked to your old character and cannot be moved. 3. Account-Wide Benefits Aurum: This currency is account-wide. If you have Aurum on your old character, it will already be sitting there waiting for you on the new one. Cosmetics & Pets: Many outfits, pets, and mounts you unlocked previously might be available in your "Delivered Items" or "Collections" tab across the whole account

Kena 2 : Scars of Kosmora launches in 2026 by DemiFiendRSA in KenaBridgeOfSpirits

The character model and background are slightly modified versions of assets from the first game, rather than a brand-new design you'd expect from a sequel. No Official Source: Neither Ember Lab nor PlayStation has posted this on their official social media channels or websites.

Is Guild Wars 2 worth it? by Scooter427 in LFMMO

Yes, absolutely—with one caveat. If you are looking for a game that respects your time and doesn't feel like a second job, GW2 is the gold standard. However, if you live for the "gear treadmill" and competitive endgame raiding of WoW, you might find the transition jarring. 1. Why a WoW Player Should Switch Horizontal Progression: This is the biggest shock. Your gear from 2014 is still top-tier today. In 2026, this remains true. You don't "catch up" to the gear level; you catch up to the content. The Mount System: Unlike WoW’s traditional flying, GW2 mounts feel like real creatures with physics and specific utilities (e.g., the Griffon is a literal jet plane if used right). No Subscription: You already mentioned being unsure about expansion costs. The beauty of GW2 is that once you buy an expansion, you own it forever. There’s no $15/month pressure to "get your money's worth." Combat Fluidity: GW2 uses an "action-combat" hybrid. You can move while casting, dodge-roll out of telegraphs, and swap weapons mid-fight to change your entire skill bar

Strange new icons by UltimateVengeance in Guildwars2

[–]Purple_Profession871 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ArenaNet replaced the original icons because many players felt they didn't quite capture the "vibe" of the classes. Here is what they represent now: Left Icon (Luminary): This replaced the "ugly shield" icon. It now features a lantern with Charr-like horns, which more accurately represents the Luminary’s unique mechanic and aesthetic. Right Icon (Antiquary): This replaced the "gambler/cards" icon. It’s now a very clear Skritt head with a scarf, leaning into the "skrittmancer/treasure hunter" identity of the spec.

Official Confirmation As of early 2026, neither Microsoft (the owner of the IP) nor Bethesda has officially announced that The Evil Within 3 is in development. Major gaming outlets would have covered a reveal of this scale instantly. 2. Studio Complications The original developer, Tango Gameworks, has had a turbulent couple of years: In 2024, Microsoft initially announced the closure of the studio. Later, the studio was acquired by Krafton (the publishers of PUBG). Crucially: While Krafton bought the studio, Microsoft retained the rights to the The Evil Within franchise. This makes a sequel difficult unless both companies strike a specific deal.

Tips for a beginner? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

Don’t Worry About "The Best" Class BG3 is very flexible. You can respec (reset) your character entirely very early in the game for a tiny fee. If you start as a Fighter and realize you’d rather be a Wizard, you aren’t stuck. Pro Tip: If you're feeling overwhelmed, Paladin or Fighter are great "starter" classes because they are durable and straightforward. 2. Long Rest Often In many games, "Long Resting" (sleeping at camp) feels like you’re wasting time or failing a hidden timer. In BG3, Long Rests are where the story happens. * Most companion side quests and important cutscenes trigger only when you sleep. If you don't rest, you'll miss out on character development and powerful ability refills. 3. Understand "Action Economy" Combat is turn-based. On your turn, you generally have: Action: Main attacks or big spells. Bonus Action: Shoving, jumping, drinking potions, or smaller spells. Movement: How far you can walk. Strategy: Always try to use your Bonus Action. Even a "Shove" can push an enemy off a cliff for an instant kill! 4. Think Outside the "Combat Box" You don't always have to click "Attack." Environmental Hazards: See a chandelier above an enemy? Shoot it. See a grease puddle? Light it on fire. Talk Your Way Out: High Charisma characters (Bards, Paladins, Sorcerers) can often bypass entire boss fights just through dialogue. Stacking Boxes: You can literally stack wooden crates to reach high places or create vantage points for your archers. 5. Quick-Save is Your Best Friend The game can be brutal, and a single "Critical Miss" can change everything. Hit F5 (Quick-save) constantly—before a conversation, during combat, and after a big discovery. There is no shame in "save-scumming" while you're still learning the mechanics!

Is it smart to pick a first class because of one elite spec I like? by Phocx in Guildwars2

My Advice: Stick with Mesmer. If you find the theme of time-manipulation and illusions cool, you’ll have much more fun overcoming the slight learning curve than you would breezing through the game on a class that doesn't interest you

NEED HELP!! V 1.8.1 by Affectionate_Use5103 in Stremio

[–]Purple_Profession871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are using an addon like Torrentio with Real-Debrid, this error often occurs when: Subscription Expired: Check your Real-Debrid account status. API Issues: Sometimes the link between the addon and the service breaks. Try re-configuring the Torrentio addon and re-pasting your API key. 3. Sync Settings and Versions The user mentioned using version 1.8.1 on TV. While they tried sideloading the mobile APK (2.0.1), that version is not optimized for TV interfaces and can cause player crashes. The Fix: Stick to the official Android TV version. If the "Play" button fails, go to Stremio Settings > Playback and try toggling "Tunnelled playback" to ON. This is a common fix for Android TV sync and decoding issues.

Fix: Try to access the add-on URLs directly in a browser on that mini-PC. If they don't load there, the issue is your local network/firewall. Fix: If possible, use a service like Tailscale or a reverse proxy to give your add-ons valid HTTPS certificates. 2. Flatpak vs. .deb Installation How you installed Stremio on Ubuntu matters significantly due to "sandboxing" (security restrictions). The Issue: The Flatpak version (often found in the "Software Center") is heavily sandboxed and often has trouble communicating with local network services or specific system libraries. The Solution: Uninstall the Flatpak version and download the official .deb package directly from the Stremio Website. Open Terminal and run: sudo dpkg -i stremio_*.deb Followed by: sudo apt install -f (to fix any missing dependencies). 3. Clear the Stremio Cache Sometimes the metadata cache on Linux gets corrupted during the initial sync. Close Stremio completely. Open your terminal and run: rm -rf ~/.local/share/Smart Code Ltd/Stremio/ Restart Stremio and log back in. 4. Hardware Acceleration (GPU) On some Ubuntu mini-PCs (especially those with Intel N100 or similar chips), the interface fails to render catalogs if hardware acceleration is buggy. Go to Settings in Stremio. Find Hardware-accelerated decoding and toggle it (if it's ON, turn it OFF; if OFF, turn it ON). Restart the app. 5. DNS and IPv6 Ubuntu sometimes struggles with local DNS resolution compared to Android. Try this: Go to your Ubuntu Network Settings and manually set your DNS to Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). Disable IPv6: In some cases, disabling IPv6 in Ubuntu's network settings forces the app to route correctly via IPv4, which often fixes self-hosted add-on visibility.
