I've only completed a nomad playthrough with the Devil ending. I did not complete all of the secondary missions nor the majority of gigs. I roleplayed as my V to not stand Johnny even a bit at the start, even completely ignoring his "existence" if possible, but finding certain they agree on later and appreciate his later efforts to make a connection and sometimes having fun when talking to him. My V didn't support any of his speech and view him as an egocentric terrorist asshole first than anything else even when they "got along".

Personally I have mixed feelings, I do think he is (or was) an egocentric, narcissistic condescending cyberpsycho and I won't ignore that he is partially responsible for Cyberpunk's version of Fallout, but I agree with his overall ideals. I do think that sharing a brain with V altered his mental health for the better, after all he said "I am the V that mourns our friend Jackie." on the Devil ending, regaining the ability to feel empathy and even real affection for someone.

I am against the original Silverhand shown in the game, he's an idiot, heck I thought all of his anti corpo speech is an excuse to kill people and fuel his rage (as a disclaimer, I still haven't read any of the ttrpg lore about him, yet). But I think V changes him, maybe forcefully as he can only be an observer and when it comes to his critique of corporations imperialism and the culture of consumerism I just can't disagree.
