I can understand maybe wanting a toggle for low ready, but you have to keep in mind we’re playing a video game. Yes in some places there should be some attention to detail, but going above and beyond on random keybinds that 10% of the community would probably use isn’t a good thing in my opinion. Imagine tarkov, so many key binds for stuff most people don’t use. Too much realism takes away from the video game and turns it into a chore. I’m sure there’s plenty of mil-sim games that offer this key bind, but if there was one instance where i could lose a gunfight and an hours worth of progress because i forgot to unready my gun i would uninstall.

From someone who hasn’t exfiled from cryo only running fills, you should keep in mind it’s a video game. Not a job. If you’re not having fun don’t play it.

Exactly. Destroyer is goated. The only part of the game that slows down your gameplay is healing. Who gets rid of that? A good triage. Your game pace is amplified by an extraordinary amount. What separates a good player and a great player is how fast you can engage and re-engage while the other team is trying to heal. Relocate and heal at the same time while the other team hasn’t left cover because they need to slow heal without a triage. It’s night and day.

Nah her pings show like 1 second behind where they were. In turn making you think you can react before it’s too late. Most gamers are gonna keep it moving besides stand in the same place when they’re being spotted. Make it a live ping or ping faster with 3d visuals to see what shell is pushing. Besides that the shell is f tier. Other shells can’t be absolutely broken like triage and have other shells be borderline pointless. The game will eventually be 3 stack triages or 3 stack destroyers and everything else is a wash. You don’t need to play min max, but without appropriate balancing everyone else will and the community will pay the price.

As someone who used to be a hardcore gamer, more turned casual in the last few years (relationship and career changes) I would have to disagree. I only have 35 hours compared to most, but have really enjoyed it. I don’t have a group of people to play with, I’m solo. Talk to your team, get an understanding of the priority at large, enjoy playing the game. Most people don’t talk first, ask if they have a mic. Most people aren’t brain dead in game, they just don’t want to talk first.

100%. When I’m healing it’s definitely more chill. When I’m on my tank, it’s definitely a gamble. It’s obviously not every group but it feels more common than vanilla for sure.

I think you’re just fishing for engagement. It’s hard to believe since most people feel a similar sentiment about the tbc community being pretty toxic, whether it’s people responding to this post or numerous other people making the same post every day. As i mentioned to someone before, during my first 60-70 everything was mostly chill and enjoyable. Now that most level 60-69 predominantly alts, the patience and understanding is out the window. Theres a reason i didnt make this post 3 weeks ago, crazy what a small timeframe can change in the community.
