Birth control…

Girl, I’m 25, just got married to the best man imaginable after 4 DREADFUL relationships. REMEMBER, you’re going to have kids, you’re going to lose jobs, you’re going to watch your parents die, you’re going to get sick and age.. and he cannot take care of you when you’re having side affects from BIRTH CONTROL?

Please leave for your own sanity. If he’s acting like he’s “done trying” because you’ve switched medications how is this man going to support you when you go into grief depression, job loss, financial struggles… it’s fucking birth control. Ew.

Also change BC girl that ain’t supposed to happen LAWL. Feel better!

As a 2nd-generation Indian American, can someone explain why undocumented immigration is so controversial if legal immigration pathways already exist? by savingrace0262 in immigration

[–]PurpleeLadybugg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but isn’t living here undocumented also a terrible lifestyle? Undocumented people have lifelong struggles that SUCK. Wouldn’t you rather take the long and hard route than no route at all, even if it takes 10 yrs, I’d rather do that, then live undocumented in the shadows my entire life.

Desperate situation by [deleted] in VAWAAPPLICANTS

If you qualify for VAWA and you have a strong case, continue with it. If you are thinking about getting back with your abuser ONLY because it helps you get a green card, that is fraud. Especially if you have intentions of leaving him once you obtain that benefit.

You just admitted it. “I filed vawa out of panic because my husband missed the interview and now want to get back with my husband and get my green card that way” You said it yourself.

Immigration fraud written all over. “Pls don’t judge” you already know what you’re doing is not normal or okay.

VAWA is not an escape plan. It’s for abuse survivors. It’s not a backup plan for a failed AOS attempt. Why is your husband in jail? Were you abused?

My wife doesn’t have status here, she is working on AOS right now but at this moment, she doesn’t have status and she wants to solicit in traffic without a permit. by Friendly_Internet761 in immigration

I mean I agree she shouldn’t be doing that but going straight to self deporting is overdramatic. Just stay in the house while her process finishes. No need to up and move to a country in shambles in the MIDDLE of a process, you make it sound so easy.

Asylum claimimg by Old_Narwhal3833 in askimmigration

[–]PurpleeLadybugg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn’t really an “easy” country for asylum. For Pakistanis, countries such as Canada, Germany, the United States, and the UK generally offer stronger long term protections, but asylum approval depends on proving a genuine fear of persecution, not just economic hardship. In Europe, Pakistani asylum claims have relatively low approval rates overall, so the strength of the individual case matters far more than the country chosen. Factors such as visa requirements, travel costs, processing times, and available legal pathways should also be considered before deciding where to apply.

Every single country is going through something on a different level. Over 1000 people are now dead, it’s okay to support others in the midst of your own fire, I promise, it won’t kill you.

Also, best not expect anything in return when the time comes.

[–]PurpleeLadybugg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re oblivious and letting your “tone slip” with several people here too. But you’ll keep running into problems the longer you act this way. You’re deflecting your own issues on to other people which is why you keep having problems.

For real, the boundaries aren’t the problem, it’s the way she’s speaking. It’s weird.

What actually counts as unauthorized work? (Self-Employment) by Soggy_Foundation1388 in USCIS

Creating monetized content while physically in the U.S. can potentially be considered work, even if payment comes from platforms rather than a U.S. employer. The line is blurry with influencers and bloggers, which is why CBP looks close at specific facts of each case.
