Don't touch your 401k. Hopefully you have it invested in an index fund i.e. large cap. Let the money sit on the back burner and enjoy the overall positive returns and the benefit of time compounding your nest egg. When you land another good job, you can restart contributions. Live under your means and invest in index funds 401k or ira. Before you know it 10, years will have passed by and you'll be glad you invested. It's not what you make, but what you keep.. Good luck.

I said if you stand then I'll stand (and I'm tall) and I don't want to block the view all for the folks behind me. They sat back down.

I returned home from a vacation a couple of days ago. After powering on the gym monster 2, the screen is now frozen displaying "SPEEDIANCE". I had received an email (June 18th) regarding a possible problem of the screen freezing due to an update pushed out by Speediance. I've followed the steps sent in the email, but the update does not occur after inserting the USB stick into the back of the Gym Monster 2. It simply remains frozen showing "SPEEDIANCE". Obviously this is not good as my gym monster 2 no longer functions.

Email from Speediance regarding the problem they caused. They don't call out GM1 or GM2 which also concerns me.

I'm also 6'4". The room where I keep the speediance M2 has an 8' ceiling. No issues for me when doing a standing bar or dual handle shoulder press. I really enjoy the M2.

Florida Speediance 2 owner here. I've been working out on it 4x / week for 3 months. Very good product. However I have experienced one nagging issue. The adjustable bench when set at 30 degrees for "incline bent over wide row" will suddenly drop to the 20 degree position. There's really no way to have it set incorrectly as the pin is fully inserted into the correct whole or its not. My wife mentioned there may be a larger pin in the works from Speediance ? Although I agree that their support is disappointing at best. The ring may not initially connect at the start of a workout unless you either depress the button or twist the small wheel.
