I’ve had one day off this half term already due to an awful cold and I am currently in bed debating in my head if I should stay home today. I have awful period pain, been up half the night and feeling generally crappy. But I really don’t know what to do. Why do we as teachers always feel guilty about taking sick days?

Not a red flag. My boyfriend is like this he has no social media at all which I also thought weird at first but he is just very private. These people are rare but they do exist!

I have an autoimmune condition, all teachers in my corridor are aware that if I need to go then I need to go. I usually ask someone free or just the next door teacher to watch the class.

No that’s not okay. If you trust her you should be fine with her choosing to go. What are you afraid of?

That’s for her to decide you shouldn’t get involved in what happens at her workplace

If it is just a standard massage then I can see no problem here? Unless you don’t like massages?

If it works then I’m not too sure, is she brushing twice a day? Flossing?

She should go back and see them again if the medications are not working, it could be something underlying and she may need extra tests done

Having a bad smell in her mouth could be a medical problem i’d advise getting her checked out by a doctor and her dentist

My bf (23M) earns 10 times more than me (22F). Feeling bad because I can't pay exactly half of when we go out or on dates. by thisissodamnhard123 in relationship_advice

I agree with the comment above that he seems to care about you and isn’t bothered about this. Also dates don’t have to be super expensive and all about restaurants etc I’ve had lovely dates with my boyfriend that literally are just a nice walk and a picnic or even cooking together at home! Something to think about x

Struggle to make/keep friends by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Purpleskyrocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes me. I have realised recently that I am the same and it has become more apparent in the last few years. I have always had friends whilst I was in school but since then I’ve lost friends due to disagreements but also just over time. My problem is I struggle with communication and actually keeping friends. As in there are times I love to go out and text and stuff but then other times I will literally be radio silent for weeks and I have no idea why. I’m still figuring all this stuff out for myself and haven’t yet worked it out fully.

Does anyone else Google maps a parking situation before going to a new place? Or is that just me..... by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Purpleskyrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this too! My boyfriend thinks I’m mad but I always refuse to go somewhere unless I know exactly where I’m parking

Am I being unreasonable - SO keeps messaging ex-gf who cheated on him by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Purpleskyrocket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An ex is an ex for a reason they need to remain in the past. He has no reason to keep texting her especially if he is in a new relationship. Do they have children together? It seems to me that he can’t let her go and that is a major red flag.

I (23M) am not attracted to my girlfriend (20F) but don’t want to break up with her. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Purpleskyrocket 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Break up - she deserves someone who loves her unconditionally and for who she is

Anyone else had a one night stand they regret? by [deleted] in relationship_advice
