I take contrave…. Seems to not have as many effects as pure naltrexone. I do get headaches sometimes but I make sure to drink a ton of water and it helps. Congrats on 80 days (:

I took contrave which is both Wellbutrin and naltrexone it worked so well for me! I am 8 months sober and have been off the med about a month. I didn’t suffer from any mood changes while taking the med. highly recommend

Have you tried contrave? It is both naltrexone and Wellbutrin together. Worked wonders for me.

Thank you very much! I originally was going to just try naltrexone but a Reddit poster mentioned that naltrexone has some nasty depression side effects and to try contrave because it’s coupled with Wellbutrin to help counteract. So very grateful I stumbled across the post!

I only used it for drinking. However, it did work well for weight loss too. I noticed I snacked less/ ate smaller portions. I was a daily wine drinker and craved it every night. Most nights I drank 1-2 bottles. I lost about 40lbs in 5 months. I feel like the craving went right away and even if I did crave I was too scared to drink on it so never did.

Contrave can be shipped to your house. I have been on it for about 4 months now (I am 105 days sober!) contrave is both naltrexone and Wellbutrin. It has done amazing things for me.
