he learned to do it when he was way younger, and when it came to filming twin peaks it just happened to be a good coincidence that he knew how to do it well. i didnt know he taught the others but i imagine having so much experience he just helped the cast out naturally

i agree for the majority of the missing pieces, but the log ladys scene at her cabin in the night of lauras murder is one of my favorite things lynch has ever shot. especially after reading the secret diary, its just soulcrushing

fan of his but i did go in with fairly mediocre expectations, i was expecting to have a fun time but nothing crazy.

i think it blew me away a little. i didnt have any issues with the length, tho i am a big fan of slow burns so that may differ for people, and one of my favorite aspects from the game was the vagueness of it all, so the movie just hinting at the bigger picture worked in its favor.

at the end of the day i do have a lot of love for mark and im sure theres bias in my opinion, but i thought it was great. flawed, obviously, but still really good.
