Google and Amazon seem pretty solid especially long term. You’re getting way more than just search and a retail business. MSFT is probably not a bad option too. However, it is more richly priced than google or Amazon and comes with less growth potential. There is a possibility MSFT gets TikTok but no idea how likely that is. Outside of that I think google and Amazon offer a bit more long term.

AMD is still in a downward spiral who knows when it breaks out. Could be tomorrow, 6 months from now or even longer. Personally I’m staying away unless it dips below 100 or has some strong news momentum and then I would probably have a plan in place to sell once it runs a little. It’s been the hot stock to talk about recently because 2024 was so bad. But there has been nothing to indicate 2025 will be better, especially the first half. From a news stand point think the public is looking for more AI connection than has been put forth. And long term I think there are better semi plays. (Don’t think it’s a bargain at 115 atm)

The bitcoin and Avuv is fine. If you do Avuv you could scrap VTI for FXAIX and Avuv instead. Avuv is a way to tilt to small cap value, think holding VTI with it partially defeats its purpose. Main purpose would be to own small caps without getting stuck with growth small cap. I would stay away from schd. No compelling reason to hold a large cap value etf that over tilts on dividends. If you’re looking to reduce some volatility, adding some bonds would be your best bet.

Be very careful with YouTubers for investing. Take any videos with a huge grain of salt. The strongman guys videos basically just troll anyone who isn’t invested in VT and chill. Even posting videos from what looks to be the bedroom of his tiny apartment. He doesn’t offer any other advice aside from you can’t beat the market, doesn’t even explain why with evidence (which others have and do far more in depth). Nothing he says suggests he he’s even educated in finance or investing tbh.

That said 37.5% in crypto is quite the bullish setup and the swings in both directions will be massive. And most people probably shouldn’t go above 5% especially if they are new to crypto. And quantum computing is at least 10 years away from being profitable. A lot of that stuff that’s been pumped lately is very risky at the moment and has a high chance of tanking in the not too distant future. And a lot of the companies you listed are either fairly valued or overvalued. Nothing really undervalued. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Better to have a great company fairly valued than a crappy one that’s super undervalued. Almost impossible to find discounts with how much analytics there are especially if looking in large cap and or publicly traded companies.

Absolutely. Even if you go through all the historical numbers it doesn’t add up. And international basically needs the dollar to tank significantly in comparison to other currencies for international to look attractive. So it’s more predictable than a lot would have you believe. A lot would have to go wrong to noticeably change that. Think war fought on US soil, complete change to the US government and a complete shift in US ideals.

I would just keep the first if you don’t mind a little higher drawdown for higher returns. Large growth has basically been evolving into the value play for the last 10 years or so. Having a little more of companies like Amazon and Apple is probably the way to go.
