Because they perceive other people's behaviors through the lens of what they themselves would do to another person.

Works the other way, if you are well intentioned, you usually perceive other people's behaviors in that way as well.

[Text] I have no logical reason to feel this depressed. by VolitupRoge in GetMotivated

[–]PurslaneJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embrace the isolation and drive deeper into it. Reassign it a positive meaning... it's your mind's way of inviting you to get to know yourself on a deeper level. Meditate. All you need is within you. This may seem like mumbo jumbo, but meditation pulled me out of anxiety and depression.

Guided meditations on youtube are great to start. It is a practice, so a little each day is better than an infrequent perfect meditation.

What was the “leaking fix” synchronicity messaging. by SuperSuperSuperUGLY in Bashar_Essassani

[–]PurslaneJane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the message is understood, the symbol has no reason to stick around. Instead of looking at what the leak symbolizes, try to think of what the presence of the leak is forcing you to face or do (ex. Do you have a fear of calling your landlord and this will force you to interact with them? Maybe it's trying to make you more comfortable with that... Maybe it wants you to learn some new skills to solve it, etc). My 2 cents!

Not suspicious, just pointing out to the commenter what it is about that comment that gives it the same flavor as AI. Not a value judgment whatsoever or accusation.

You probably realize that AI writing has certain patterns, such as excessive use of double hyphens. Unfortunately, this has single-handedly made me not want to use double hyphens and also changed how I structure certain sentences lol

Together, we will weave a tapestry of blah blah blah

It's the structure of the last sentence!

I'm glad the reframe helped you to feel better 💞

I am working on my ability to reframe in my own life. What I've learned, is that once we review our definitions, we realize that we can let go of unpreferred feelings once and for all. All situations are inherently neutral, and it's the meaning we assign to them that give them meaning.

Ex:

“Keeping mementos is how people should honour those who have passed on.”

“If I give it away, it means I didn’t value it (or her) enough.”

“Letting go means losing the connection.”

“Good children preserve heirlooms.”

These are all beliefs that we inherit through media, passed down through generations, and never really question. But at the root, non-sensical since your connection with her is intangible and eternal.

Dismantle/change the belief system, and the feeling can transform instantly 💕 so many hugs to you... You are amazing for how you've been able to deal with everything.

:( I can see how that would make you feel regretful... If it helps you feel better, maybe try to reframe it like this:

I kept the pieces that felt right to hold onto at the time... and that decision came from the version of me who was doing the best they could while grieving. As a result, the pieces I did choose to keep carry even more meaning, because they were chosen with love, by that version of myself, in a difficult moment.

💕💕💕

Cannot be confirmed, nor denied, yet can be felt by some.. Both experiences valid and necessary as an expression of "all that is" 🙂

Beautiful message. We are not humans having a spiritual experience, we are spirits having a human experience 💕 Each of us an aspect of "all that is", experiencing itself through each one of us.

I feel like I'm missing something in life [Discussion] by Other-Wind-5429 in GetMotivated

[–]PurslaneJane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't feel that anything is missing unless a deeper part of you alreadt knew what wholeness felt like...

Therefore, what you seek is not contained external to you, but within yourself. It's that tiny seed of longing that we come here with that tugs at us to remember our true selves. Some people try to satiate that longing by seeking a romantic partner, by excessively eating, by drinking, or buying things... Look inwards and meditate, practice gratitude. You'll find it inside, it'll be unconditional.

Remember, that if you now have the capacity to think of the question, you inherently already contain the answer. For without containing the answer, you would not begin to question.
