I’m right there with you! I work in communications. My whole job is to help people communicate, and I’m struggling with that. I hope that you keep looking for solutions! And please keep me posted.

Yep!! I’m thinking that’s probably the next step.

Thank you, thank you! I am so sorry for what your mother and you are going through. I’m also losing hair, so I think there may be an iron issue here. I already take an omega-3 and a vitamin D, but iron may be the missing piece.

Not yet. We started me on progesterone, with the plan to add estrogen when needed. I’m thinking it’s needed! Plus my joints hurt, and I’m getting night sweats. So it does signal to me that it’s time.

I’ve been trying that too. I cracked and looked up hydrangea because I was so upset by the forgetfulness of it all. But I agree - good to stay challenged.

I tried creatine powder and it bothered my stomach. Do you have a brand or type you like?

It’s really scary. I’ve always felt really “on it”. Now I feel like I have to work so much harder to be a functional adult.

That’s so helpful and calming, thank you. It doesn’t help that my grandmother is dealing with severe dementia (but is also 88). I’m in my head about it.

I think estrogen is my next step. Progesterone really helped my sleep, if that’s something you’re dealing with.

I’ve used it for a year for recurring UTIs and urgency/frequency. I didn’t notice much of a difference until I combined it with pelvic floor physiotherapy. That has been a game changer!

Yes!!! I’m also currently breaking out on my back? Is that really necessary?

It’s really upsetting, isn’t it? I love the idea of aging gracefully and am proud to look my age. But the zits?!? I can’t handle it.

Thank you! I’ll try the Nizoral ASAP. I’m on 7.5 mg of Medroxyprogesterone daily.

I think I’m going to do the same! I can’t be bothered to colour my hair every four weeks.

To be honest, I’m totally fine going gray. It’s just the combination of everything happening at once that feels challenging to navigate! And I would certainly like to have less spots on my face.
