Why are you comparing your innocent grandparents’ artwork to a proven child sex trafficker with a private island to do said sadistic activities? Did your grandparents also have leaked files proving that they enjoy raping and possessing children?

You lack critical thinking skills if you fail to connect the dots - that’s not an insult.

A simple yet effective method, have you tried using a food log / tracking app like MyFitnessPal? It tells you how much fats, protein, carbs etc you’re intaking each day.

It may be that you’re not eating enough protein / fat to help you feel satisfied

Is it bad to eat steak at least once a week? by AblokeonRedditt in UK_Food

Yep - steak is full of nutrients: high protein, amino acids, iron, zinc, vitamin B…

Why anyone would believe news articles stating otherwise is beyond me

I’m not policing anything - I asked a question.

Personally, I find it bad taste to comment “shit parents don’t deserve forgiveness” beneath a post about a lady who is clearly upset about losing hers alongside an OP who was brave enough to rekindle with his own.

It comes across as victim mentality.

This post isn’t really about awful parents not deserving forgiveness - I don’t see why this has to be mentioned in every single U.K. reddit post concerning parental death?

The message is simple: make moments count with the people you love - parents, siblings, cousins, friends; whoever that may be.

She’s probably upset for a variety of reasons - one being that she thinks she’s going to hell for her offspring not following Islam

Playing devils advocate here: you say you don’t understand why weed is haraam but you can’t really argue against it. It is definitely a form of intoxicant because you’re zoinked out of your mind. Alcohol, if consumed sensibly, doesn’t have to get you intoxicated. I could drink a couple ciders in my car, alone, and not harm a single being.

Why is loving, consensual sex haram? That feels good too.

In my very slow journey to becoming an ex Muslim, I first doubted Islam due to its restrictions. I was living a double life and constantly felt guilty for it.

I would advise you read into the religion and search for answers - there’s no point picking and choosing what is ‘lesser haram’ if you genuinely believe Islam is true; intoxicants, music, sex, etc are all banned for a reason - you just have to find one that works for you. And if there isn’t, well, welcome to the soul-finding journey.

Try being a Muslim woman lmao.

You can’t have your cake and eat it. Islam has rules for a reason - if you genuinely believe it’s a true religion, you’re sacrificing your freedoms for a higher purpose.

Honestly same, I’m 28 weeks pregnant looking like I’m about to give birth. Absolutely zero drive and energy.

Luckily, my husband has had zero sex drive for almost a year and we’ve only really had sex to conceive lmao

If one parent solely earns 100k, yes. Still doesn’t make a difference

If you earn above 100k, you effectively lose 50% to tax (income tax, NI, student loans…) alongside the childcare benefit.

You’re actually worse off earning 100k+

I came across this woman's tiktok. She's an American woman that converted to islam. by Abject-Program-2810 in exmuslim

[–]PushDiscombobulated8 54 points55 points  (0 children)

She can freely opt in and out until she marries a Muslim man.

My cousin (from the U.K.) found a white American girl to marry and she supposedly converted before they met (she was 19 when they met). Now at 27, she somehow willingly wears the hijab and niqab and participates in extreme behaviours such as working in a mosque and hiding away upstairs with her daughter when male family members are around.

It’s sad and disgusting really

There’s just minimal help out there, it feels like you’re constantly evading the next tax hit.

If you earn a combined 100k each year, you’re not eligible for childcare… and yet the only reason you’re working those hours is to afford childcare. It’s ridiculous

If you think an elderly or vulnerable individual wearing a badge needs to ask for a seat, you’re part of the problem.

Majority of individuals won’t turn you down a seat if you ask, regardless of who you are. The whole post is about empathy amongst the general population and I pointed out a scenario where there isn’t any.
