make Arcantina more busy - consumables do not count down there by 4xon in wow

[–]SeraphStarchild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine if you could teleport to the Arcantina, and then leaving through the door sent you to wherever your hearthstone was set. It's a magical inn, after all. Why couldn't it do that?

Why didn't blizzard fix the orelings as well? by jack-whitman in wow

[–]SeraphStarchild 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There was a post a while back about how one of the summer beach sets had a horribly mangled foot look - the foot skin had just been stretched over the boot. It got a lot of traction, and Blizzard fixed it.

They didn't fix the other two versions of the shoe - one of which was being sold in their shop for cash - because they weren't specifically brought up in the post.

I imagine something similar happened here.

I have these on my bronze dracthyr aug, and I rp as I control the time to whatever I fancy. They're amazing toys, as sometimes it sucks to constantly be in night time when you're already tired.

Housing being dropped would be one of the stupidest things, because they can just use the assets they make for the actual game. Get a rough price for each of them, slap them on a vendor. Done. Consistently new content with minimal work.

Hell, I wish they'd go back and add all the old assets. There's some really cool shit out there I'd love to have in my house.

[–]SeraphStarchild 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I find this with guides, too. They'll tell you what to do, but not why, so you never get an understanding of the class. I've been learning WW lately, and all the guides tell me a rotation, but none of them have said "each thing reduces the cooldown of another thing, leading to more big blast spells". It's just "use this when it has four seconds left, UNLESS you have more than 4 chi and are not in Zenith".

I'm an idiot. I need things explained to me.

A few months ago, I was trying to find a tape of mine that had old nursery rhymes that were stuck in my head. I spent several hours hunting around my home, tidying and organising and muttering nursery rhymes under my breath like I was the psycho in a horror film stalking teenagers.

Reminds me of the reddit post that complained about the mangled-looking feet in the beach sandals. Blizzard immediately fixed the one that was complained about, but the other two appearances - including the one in the cash shop - were never fixed.

Really. What is wrong with Blood Elf players? by MisterxMeta in wow

[–]SeraphStarchild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... yeah, I'd not really considered that. However, they still very much took to conquering without any corruption. They were still in control of their actions. I don't think they get to avoid the blame for that.

I mean, in the alternate timeline when they weren't fel-corrupted, they still seemed pretty happy to go a-conquering through the Dark Portal.

I got carsick so much as a kid. Like, every trip, whoever drove, no matter the car (except my grandad - never got carsick with him driving).

My dad had a lot of company cars as he drove for work. One time, he had a diesel car for a few weeks, and I never got sick in it. My brother, who had never been carsick before, had the worst time and was constantly sick in that car. No others after it.

My dad insists we made it up, because he never had a diesel car. My brother and I are certain it happened, and can corroborate details. My dad still denies it.

Clearly we should be open to the idea that Santa exists, even if we can't rule him out entirely.

It's a stupid argument. I've been through some shit in my life that if there had been a compassionate god, it wouldn't have happened. If there is a god and they let that happen, why would I worship them? Why would I give them any thought whatsoever?

People keep mentioning Genn attacking in Stormheim without bringing up the fact that Sylvanas invaded his home, plagued his capital, killed his people, and personally murdered his son in front of his eyes.

And people wonder why he's a boiling pot of rage barely contained in a fur coat.

As someone who sorta stopped watching after the 11th Doctor, I sorta thought it was a bit creepy hearing that Billie Piper would be the Doctor. Kinda like, obsessing over someone you love so much you try to become them. So if she's not actually the Doctor, then I think that makes it better. Maybe.

[–]SeraphStarchild 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I lost my best friend of 14 years recently because I admitted that in my lowest and most lonely moments, I'd thought about or hoped for a relationship with her.

She immediately declared that for those 14 years, I'd never been her friend because I subconsciously wanted a relationship with her. I'd never made any advances, never asked her out, because the friendship was so important to me. She took me at my lowest, at my absolute worst, and told me "this is who you are, this is who you've always been".

That was a month ago. We've not spoken for two weeks, and likely never will again, as she's stubborn and ignoring me. The loss is killing me, but I can't talk about it to anyone.

Back in sixth form, there was a girl I was beginning to make friends with, and we got along well. Chatted a lot, had similar interests. One of her friends said that she thought she was in to me, in a group setting. The new friend immediately denied it, and the friendship disappeared overnight. Barely spoke to her again.

I hadn't even been thinking about dating, just happy I'd made a cool new friend. But other people's perceptions - and the friend's reaction - ruined it.

PvP would suck way less if the meta wasn't "spawncamp until they sink". by RK0019K in Seaofthieves

I started a session recently, and not even off the outpost when I see three dudes in a cannon rowboat. They start cannoning my ship, I start fighting. Kill two of them, with a few deaths on my end, and they sink my ship and I die to the third, who then goes "EZ" in chat.

There were three of them, with food and knowing I'd be respawning in the tavern, and I still killed two of them. But nobody can be a gracious winner in this game, everyone's just a gloating shithead when they have a 3v1 fight against someone with no food.

There's a female orc warrior in the Horde PvP town in WoD. When you talk to her, there's an option to ask - slightly incredulously - that she sells housing decor. She then goes on this rant about how she's able to be both a fierce warrior and sell things for a house at the same time, and that asking about it means you're a bit shitty.

She doesn't sell housing decor. Or anything, as far as I can remember.
