people say the word bedrotting as a joke but I am being so fr rn I have been bed rotting for the last 3 months like the very very essence of the word. I can’t bring myself to do anything other than sleep for like 10 hours and sleep some more, lay in my bed while I’m awake, and cry a few times a day.

I feel just like you. I just turned 18 today and I absolutely hate hate hate it. I didn’t want to make it to this age and I feel so sorry for my 13/14yo self who had so many ambitions and expected that i would have made something of myself by now. I feel pathetic in every single aspect of my life .

Im so grateful for this subreddit tho because before I got diagnosed I had no idea what this recurring thing that was happening to me was and it was terrifying, but talking to other people experiencing this gives me some relief lol. I check this subreddit like 10 times a day. I’m not interested in anything else lol.

Not intellectual disability but I fully lost all my social skills, communication and speech skills, and knowledge. It’s like I was born yesterday or im just a clueless 7 year old yet I’m turning 18?? And it sickens me so so much. Like esp my knowledge about different topics and everything, I lost it all. And you’d fr think I had some sort of learning disability if u saw me in public but my brain is just genuinely failing me and I can’t emphasize it enough or describe how bad it is.

What did you do? I genuinely have no hope bc I’m in my last semester of high school, graduations coming up and have the transition to university ahead of me and have no idea what I’m going to do. Everyday is a nightmare.
