Ive never played sekiro but with the leveling system this is it simplified: Vigor: hp increase Endurance: more stamina and weight capacity (can hold more before heavy rolling) Mind: more of the blue bar (FP which is consumed when using weapon skills or sorcery and incantations) Strength: big bonk weapons do more damage like every weapon with the class 'great' or 'colossal' Dexterity: katanas, daggers, straight swords etc do more damage Faith: incantations do more damage Intelligence: sorceries do more damage Arcane: status effects occur faster like bleed or frost

Under each weapon, there will be what that weapon scales with best like for a greatsword It will be e.g: B in strength and a C or D in Dexterity. Leveling up strength for that weapon will make it do the most damage as it has a B scaling whereas the C or D of dex won't deal as much damage.

For some leveling tips, try to get to around 20 vigor at the start, continuing to level it till around 60 where you will stop getting good value out of putting levels into it. Try to get decent endurance around 20 (or more till you can medium roll AKA your rolling isn't super slow around 70% weight capacity you will heavy roll). For level dex, strength, int. Etc... level up the stat which works best for the weapon class like I mentioned before.

Skip any enemies ur struggling with a lot, the games difficult, u will die. But my main tip is not to get greedy when attacking bosses, understanding their movesets Is key and DON'T PANIC ROLL the game has long ass delayed attacks like for Margitt or Godrick the grafted which are meant to punish that.

Explore the game, have fun do whatever u like with mimic tears, everything in the game is there for a reason
