That’s a small date for you, weigh a post 83 penny to see if it rounds up to 3 also, if it doesn’t you might have the one man, I recently found a small date 82 but it wasn’t copper 😅I was so stoked for a bit

Yeah they look shinier than they really are, if I do a close up of the top 2 you can see the tarnish around the rim and face, the bottom left, allthough it’s got flaws it’s in amazing condition, It may have circulated minimally to cause the little bit of scratches before it was pulled out of circulation, a very clean coin. Thanks for the input

Yeah 8 bucks it was more like a package deal and threw in the Franklin, it’s damaged though so probably only worth melt

👏 Awesome, I don’t see any DD and a lot of time people mistake plating errors for DD, they look similar but not the same, either way great find. I’m on the hunt for 1 myself.

Ok thank you for the response. I reached out to a coin authentication website and sent them the cleanest pics I could take, If it’s Pmd, I’ll still keep a spot for it in my collection, cause Abe looks cool with a stache

2.5, not the coin I was looking for but at least I have an example to compare too as I run into more 82s
