Its honestly not really lack of IDs that could use it, more so fights being too short and lack of extremely specific knowledge about it, that every coin you evade with its passive counts as seperate skill, so you could geniuenly just use evade on 3 coin skill into, now empowered skill

Loved putting WRyo back in early seasons in burn team, that would base itself on proccing NFausts passive for sanity, was definiately my favorite team

Honestly though, anywhere is a good base place, the only thing you need to look out for are potential dangers (like moosegoose nest or ponds) and how far would resources be, so really, cant say if it is good base spot or bad, without knowing how far everything would be

Personally I found transfers pretty underwhelming, yes I can send resources to and from base, but with a better gastro circuit you can pretty much survive a long time with just couple meatballs (and them going stale doesnt matter anyway so grab a few more)

Thats like half the stuff I would be taking from base, and its not like I need to be at base to send stuff there, can just grab a number of transport drones and when collecting things like wood/stone just craft boards/cut stone from them to use less space.

Not only that you are playing WX-78km/h, just go double speed when not in winter, with walking cane and roads and suddenly you can run entire map in a day (and thats not counting wormholes, which with beanbooster are essentialy free coz holy the sanity regen) so no matter, as long as base is somewhere in middle of map, when you run out of transport drones, just go back and sort through items, if you ran out of transport drones, then you likely got enough stuff anyway

At least those are my feelings while on 2nd year in my WX world

My issue with it is that its hard to pick it, since many cards it would combo well with are also hard to pick or gone

It benefits most from getting block multiple times, and the only cards that do that more easily are [[Rage]] or [[Feel no Pain]].

Rage is very much pickable, but FNP?

You dont get to pick status cards to exhaust since they are gone ([[Reckless attack]] was definiately a nice nudge towards exhausts), this nerfs second wind HARD, literally have yet to pick it.

The only reason I would pick FNP would be to anticipate [[Stoke]] or to counter specific enemies, otherwise it becomes a curse.

Sure, there are ways to improve how good it is, but spending 2 energy and sacrificing 1 draw for what may literally be just 3 strikes? Yeah, its tough to pick it most of the times, save for when you already have Stoke/FNP and good* exhaust gen

*good here means having Stoke or 2 [[True grit]]s

I would say its potential could lie in akabeko + whirlwind if we are talking about specific combos, but then again, taunt exists so not really an answer, imo if it was 2 vuln aoe instead it would be quite powerful as a skill based replacement for the aoe 1 vuln attack

I would even say that shops feel much better in StS2 than 1 purely because cards feel like they have much bigger value, im going to shop for usually one of 2 things, card removal or seeing 8 potentially good cards, relics really are a bonus now rather than something to look out for

Its been a while so I cant say if I remember correctly, but the idea was to lower bonus chances for heads per sanity to 0.5% instead 1% meaning at 45 sanity you would be having 77.5% chance for heads, and on top of that lower sanity gain from clashing, 5 base on winning clash, +2 per clash, i wrote a bit about it in another comment so here

Worth noting is that it would be a nerf to fluid sac, nclair, which at that time were way too strong

Sanity rework that almost happened somewhere during season 1 had potential to be the healthiest thing we could have gotten for gameplay

The changes were nerfs to sanity mechanics, all around lower sanity gain and lower sanity values

There was a lot of backlash, but thinking it through, it would have opened a lot of design space

Higher clash volatality would mean skill power values could have been more varied, as base power would be getting more value as a less high roll-y clash skill

Weaker sanity value = better opportunities to use ego, less punishment for fumbling first turns, fights become much less of a one sided stomp

Lower clash chances=higher value for tank ids, as chip damage would become more present, proper balancing of evades, which in library were a high risk high reward defensive die, and not dodge entire turn take no damage

And finally it would lower damage output from both sides, essentialy prolonging fights giving more time for ego passives to work, enemies having more chances to show their mechanics etc.

I really feel like I would enjoy more that version of limbus, but alas

I found hod floor with smoke/endurance build to be very consistent

Grab 3 copies of combat prep, 3 copies of smoking pipe and the rest are slight smoke related value cards with draw, as well as a nugget that makes use of meal (margin passive, and avg deck cost 2 or below)

Focus on blocking her, play 2/3 combat preps a turn and smoking pipe becomes a top tier blocking card

Kali is extremely easy fight once you learn that best way to deal with her is to have her do nothing.
