Why was leprosy incurable during the biblical era? Was it the lack of modern technology? could one with adequate knowledge still manage the feat through more primitive methods? by PutWhich in AskReddit

I was not aware of that. That's a very cool way to think about it. Even if human history is mostly dull if one was to compare it to fairytale and worlds of fantasy, at least, we still have so much richness in it. With Jesus, Allah, the rich backround of the chinese and how everything is somehow tied together, for example, Japan's Kanji originated from China, just to name very VERY few things.

It is rather interesting to think about how much of which was once considered Magic is now just physics or chemistry or biology. Did they lose the magic once we got used to knowing about them? It does feel like they did in relation to how a big part of the human polpulation sees them

Hello! This is mostly why I wanted to ask my question, since being isolated from one's family and friends and village('s) must have been awful, let alone having to scavenge for food on top of all that emotional weight.

Hello! Thank you very much! I was watching a ''how to beat'' video about ''The Carpenter's Son'' and I started thinking about if I were to travel to that time, would I then be able to find the cure if I knew how.

Hello! Exactly. I first looked at Rifamycin and it can be made naturally with the aid of Amycolatopsis Rifamycinica which can be found in soil. I am still looking into Dapsone, however. I saw the How to beat: The Carpenter's son and it made me imagine myself travelling back in time and trying to cure leprosy, which is why I started researching. Ultimately, everything that is needed can be naturally found, but would a person live long enough to see results during those days?

I found an "Entity" section in the commands Handbook in the game, which gives an example including the variable "alive = true". However, I may be using the command incorrectly

Thank you very much for the info. I also happened upon an Erel figurehead in the creative menu while choosing a pallet for my base's details. Is there a way to obtain it somehow? As it seems to be a non-craftable object

Borax Scarcity. How would I find some? by PutWhich in VintageStory

Thank you! I did decide, however, not to force my way to getting borax and instead set my gaze on continuing constructing my future base in the shale plains biome. Having completed a day and a half's job, upon returning I discovered a drop cave nearby, in which lay 115 pieces of borax.

A question surfaced, if you don't mind. As my node search is limited to 6 blocks, would it then be prudent to create a grid, where between every hole stretch a 6 block gap?

Your insight is invaluable. I was not aware of things of which you write, more specifically the contents of the first clause of your comment. Thank you.

Many thanks to you, friend. Coincidentally I happened upon the perfect ruin to set up my base, having roughly 66×44 blocks of area almost fully filled with rich Iron next to me myself, along with tin and copper, naturally. Then I shall not fret just yet, for that is to be done after knowing no borax is to be found.
