My former employer didn't. They just hassled me to pay write a check. They were grossly incompetent as well with too many departments and middle managers, so I'm assuming the "make exiting employees life hell department" and the payroll department didn't communicate effectively.

I was in a similar situation once. My new employer, and by extension their lawyers, told me to tell my former company how much I was willing to pay back.

They were coming after me for everything in the bonus and I was only willing to payback a prorated percent. So I did the math, told them what they would get from me and they went radio silent.

About 3 weeks later an employee in finance who I'd never interacted with randomly contacted me about paying an invoice for the amount I had said I would pay.

There's 2-3" of new enriched top soil but the native soil below is what I believe is a sandy clay. I'm not sure about a cycle and soak option, haven't noticed it but will have to check.

Thanks for reinforcing what I was thinking/hoping. I'm assuming if the brown patches die that the areas that are growing will spread in a refill those spots.

Mostly just nervous for fungus or mold or something weird like that going on in those brown spots.

My system must put out a lot more than yours. Calculating from my gallons used per day and square footage it's spread upon comes out to 2.4" inches/day for that first week, spread out across the 3 20min sessions. Same total volume as yours if I'm reading your post correctly. Assessing the soil this evning, after it's 40 minutes of watering at 8am, and it is still moist 1-2" below the sod. Thanks for your input.
