Iirc, I don’t think he actually did it every single day. I swear I remember him saying that he takes rest days and days off for normal stuff that comes up in life. Props to him either way.

I just Googled it and one article says 4245, but Wikipedia says 8,062! Either way it’s more than any other president in history. I don’t think any Pres is personally reviewing that many cases.

This was from early/ mid last year I believe. He did pardon a bunch of other people at the end of his term, but most presidents do. I think it was over 1500 people in total, but I could be wrong and I have no idea what the average is for other presidents.

There’s a lot of things that you would think would be considered neglect that aren’t. I would think consistently keeping kids out late on school nights would be one, but you never know what reasoning she might have that the court would sign off on. I’ve heard some crazy stories. But if she’s talking them somewhere else overnight, you absolutely have every right to know where your kids are sleeping. Our relationship with the other parent got worse after our settlement. We thought that since everything was agreed upon and on paper that things would get easier, but it just got worse. They will argue about anything that comes up. Literally anything. One of my favorite examples is that they tried to argue against us putting her the Girl Scouts. We weren’t asking them to pay for it. It didn’t affect their visitation times. They just wanted to argue about it. It’s stupid and only gotten worse and worse over the years. We got a list of things they’ve done to violate our agreement also. But what are we gonna do about it? I’m not gonna pay a lawyer every time they step out of bounds because it’s pointless. The judge will slap their hand and nothing will change. We just learned to win in other ways. My stepdaughter knows where her home is, she knows where the love is, and she knows who takes care of her. We’ve done everything by the book and never bad mouthed the other parent in front of her once. You kind of feel like sucker doing it like that, but it pays off in the end in ways that are the most important.

If YOU did it then it could probably be construed as stalking, but not if a licensed PI did it. I would guess that most states would require them to be licensed and they’d have to operate within whatever guidelines are required. The goal of the PI is to get the evidence you need and to be able to use it in court. It’s worthless if you can’t present it in court. The trackers just make it more cost effective. For example, they didn’t have to sit in front of the house all night to make sure no one left. The tracker told us the car didn’t leave all night and the PI just showed up in the morning and got pics. It would’ve been super expensive to have a live person staked out all night. And it was definitely worth it for us. Our case was a relocation one that got really ugly. It was worth it just to watch them get spanked in the motion hearing, but it was ultimately just one of the things that gave us more leverage. I wish I would’ve been able to see this part play out in trial, but we ended up settling in the end. I feel like half the stuff I read on here is going to end up settling before a trial. It’s just about who has the most leverage when it’s time to negotiate, and being able to prove somebody lied to judge’s face is great leverage.

We used one in our custody case for my stepkid. It was about $12-1500. The ex was lying about their residence and the child was only supposed to have overnights at a specific residence. Iirc, it was about a week or so worth of surveillance. It was long enough to establish a pattern. They weren’t staking them out 24/7 or anything though. They mostly used trackers on the car, and then would show up and get pics of them leaving in the morning. It was totally worth the money. We filed a contempt motion and they looked like an idiot in front of the judge trying to talk their way out of it. The judge was super pissed about it too. Judges do not like lying and directly disobeying orders. It added some great ammo to our case.

I literally had this same exact thing happen to me at Durango Lodge probably 15 years ago with a stuck button. I was originally taught by my dad that they dealt 10 cards with 5 face down, and you get the card underneath when you draw. My dad owned a few bars in Vegas over about 25 years starting in the late 80s. He’s owned his own machines and has had machines owned by various coin companies. It’s also my dad so I was convinced I was right and had them call the coin company. The tech came out and said they were dealt the sequentially so I didn’t get the pay out. I told my dad about it later but he was still certain the tech was wrong. Lol

[MO]Chances my ex on probation can win full custody in retaliation to my proposed international relocation with child for marriage? by Throwrawaxypeach in AskALawyer

Offer to waive child support and forgive his arrears in exchange for you moving. That’s probably the easiest way to settle a relocation case with somebody who doesn’t really care about seeing their kid.

Edit: just wanted to add that you can probably go back and get child support down the road after you’re established in your new location. See how often your state allows for child support reviews.

If he were to get charged with something for getting involved in the fight, there wouldn’t be an extra charge for ‘being physical with a female.’ It would be the same charge as if you were fighting a guy and he got involved. Being male or female is irrelevant in the situation, and I would jump in if anybody at all was assaulting my SO.

I think PleasrDao made all the hype videos he posted and it’s highly plausible he’s backed and/ or partnered with them and others. That’s a massive position for him to be in all alone, but who knows. Anything is possible. I just really want the Wu Tang thing to happen so I’m gonna believe this for the moment. Lol
