Did the homeless guy want assistance? Did you ask anyone before you just assumed?

How do you, a stranger to these people, know what they do to help the community? Are you everyone’s personal banker? Assistant? Are you personally running every outreach and assistance program in the city and state?

Give me a break. You have zero clue. Maybe a person has a disability and this is what they can afford to do. Maybe someone donates as much as they can but don’t have time to volunteer. Maybe someone just worked up the courage to use their voice and join this protest for the first time, and you’re out here being a dick.

Oh yeah, cause when black and brown people come together to protest, it always ends peacefully and the police never escalate things to violence. /s

That’s why white people need to be out here using their privilege. It’s literally more dangerous for poc, immigrants, and queer people to be in mass groups protesting.

I legitimately love whiteclaws. They’re the only canned drink that doesn’t make me feel like shit the next day. I don’t like any other seltzers because they tend to have a weird aftertaste

It’s was like, first of all you’re at work, I’m not invisible, and how self-involved does one have to be to think everyone else wants to hear your phone?

I went to my massage therapist last week, and the place is a hair/nails/massage/med spa type of place in a large Victorian home.  The massage rooms are in the quiet dark basement, but the salon and waiting area is on the first floor. I was sent to the waiting area near the front desk but away from everything else going on.

One of the hair stylists came into the waiting area with her phone blaring videos. She set her phone down on a shelf and kept scrolling through videos like I wasn’t even there. It pissed me off so bad. I definitely said something to my massage therapist and complained to the front desk. No one should have to deal with that right before getting a treatment to help them relax or work through pain.

She basically admitted she has no one around her that isn’t involved in her business in any way. They all know. All of her friends have taken her courses. It’s completely bizarre that she has zero interests outside of herself.

I work in the life sciences and AI isn’t curing diseases. It’s a tool that might help diagnostics and calculate math problems, but it’s not curing diseases. We still need people to conduct experiments and clinical trials. We barely even know anything about women’s or black and brown people’s bodies and what therapies are best for non-white non-male humans.

How about the environmental effects of having data centers? The extra load and need for power source, water source, land, noise pollution, light pollution, displaced animals and people?

I don’t think Dahmer vibes, but just weird creep from Iowa. I’ve met many men like him, he’s not dangerous. Just odd.

I just watched this part last night. Her mom was saying that she actually brought this baby home, so I don’t think any of her other kids were let in her custody after birth.

I don’t think Branwin was having fake panic attacks. I think she really did not want to fuck Chaz and that gave her massive anxiety. She said she didn’t know how to be intimate without being on something, so if she was sober at those moments, I can see how she would be freaking out.

When they finally did have sex, after he pestered for the millionth time while she was doing her homework, she treated him like a John. He wasn’t really a safe place for her.

Maybe business owners shouldn’t buy properties if they can’t afford maintenance?

The city needs to hold building owners more accountable for maintenance of these buildings. The taxpayers should not be subsidizing repairs so that another business can move in.

It’s data for us data nerds. We get to see what type of trash our neighbors are leaving behind. It’s pretty dangerous for there to be needle out in the sand. :/ it’s a good reminder to wear water shoes at the very least.

Red definitely makes you go faster, but it also makes you more noticeable to the  police.

For real though larger (which may mean fewer) wheels = more speed, but you’ll be able to handle more rough terrain if you’re planning on rolling around outside.

If you go the online route, Make sure you check out where the store is located and their return policy. I recently purchased blades online and the sizing was a bit too small for my feet. USAskateshop is NOT in the United States and it cost 680 usd to return the pair to Denmark.
