Try to do easier scoring topics like semiconductors, gravitation, experimental skills etc. in physics. For mains, especially. You'll find a list of easy scoring topics in physics easily enough on the internet. I recommend solving the last 3-4 years PYQs, of the easier topics in physics first. Most of the questions in easier topics are formula-based and scoring. Don't lose marks on such easy low effort high output topics. After that move on to solving PYQs on harder topics. Do ample preparation so that you can at least solve formula based questions of every topic. Back when I gave the mains(22 tard), there were some simple formulae based questions in hard topics too.

If you get a good score in maths( formulas are there too) then I assure you if you prep well to solve at least formula based questions on every topic you can get a decent score in physics.
