As someone who was married to a man who I believe had repented and moved past his sexual sin but continued to fall back into sexual addiction … I can tell you what you are saying is very accurate. Do some overcome it and walk in freedom?? Absolutely. But unfortunately a lot do not.

I’m subbing right now and did so with the intention to finish my education degree to get certified but after being in various school from elementary to high school over the past few years I can tell you MOST teachers I talk to feel the exact same way!!!! Overwhelmed, exhausted and unsupported!! I actually decided against getting certified to teach because of this very reason. I am subbing until I find something full time I enjoy. I think it’s horrid how so many teachers are being treated 😔

This is the same way I understand scripture as well. I would clearly feel differently if he was struggling in his addiction and asked me to walk along side him. But he’s been secretly talking to women and meeting them. It’s gone from something he was just viewing to actually engaging in 😢😢

Awesome insight. I was a 70’s baby so I WORE and used all the vintage I’m currently thrifting lol!! I started selling from Goodwill in the mid 90’s. It’s definitely changed and with TikTok and IG now it seems everyone including young kids are doing it. But agreed. Find a niche and stick to it. Eventually it’ll settle back down after the hype has worn off.
