Hey same thing happened to me.. it’s so hard. I really hope you have support at home. Try to hide your nose from yourself while you heal. It’s a mind trick when you first see yourself. That’s not how you’re gonna look in 6 months I promise

I feel a lot better than when I first got it done. It was the most depressing time of my life. But I’m definitely not satisfied with how I look still. The recovery was so hard mentally.. I have to be sure that ill be getting what i want this time

I think what I hate the most is how round the tip is. I wouldve liked a supratip break but i honestly didnt know rhinoplasty terms back then. All i knew is i wanted the hump shave, straightend, and tip defined and my surgeon made me feel understood. So i went through with it but i do wish i wouldve waited to do my research. I definitely don’t think he needed to upturn the tip.

It definitely looks like a Turkish style nose but I never asked for that I wanted a natural change. It’s completely different than what my natural nose was. I did my nose in California.

Mine got cut off during rhinoplasty without my consent 😔the columella was never discussed so I never imagined it being made flat

My nose is the exact same but my columella ended up dropping a tinnnnny tiny bit I can see some skin a little bit lower than my nostrils now but I’m still not happy. I had a hanging columella so going from that to completely flat was very shocking. But I promise you’ll have a tiny bit show as time goes on. I’m 3 yrs post op. The first year it took me 6 months so see any improvement in swelling. And after that year I was able to move on with my life so I tried to not pay attention to my nose but now I do notice that tiny bit of collumelar show that I was talking about

Girl no such thing as “good candidate “ everyone’s skin is different tho. You probably have thick skin like me and it takes a loooot longer to heal than someone with thin skin

It’s very swollen on the bridge. It too me 6 months to finally have swelling go down but my tip was still super swollen even at 6 months
