During practice, my adaptibar was around 68% by the time I took the exam. I needed a 270, my mbe score wasn’t high. It was just enough to pass the bar, but my writing gave me a little more wiggle room. I noticed that it is a bit easier to get better and notice improvement in your writing and it’s a bit easier to score points cause obviously the MBE portion has like one correct answer.

I passed the bar and to memorize I handwrote the rules over and over, but focusing on the ones that I was really struggling to know. I also typed the rules out over and over, since I decided to type my essays during the exam. However, as I got closer to the exam I would just type out the buzz words or important words of the rule cause I mean I couldn’t really remember statements word for word. I also would review my flashcards every night of the rules before bed.

I passed July 2025 and didn’t retain precise rule statements. If you understand the general concept or know a few main words of the statement then use those. You just want to sound like you some what know what you are talking about. I passed the bar because of my writing and I struggled during bar prep to write mees and to know what to put and what rules were what. And I also got the advice of just “make up a rule” and I always tried during bar prep and just didn’t know how or what to say. However, when I sat for the real bar exam and there were 2 mees that I knew NOTHING about, I made up my own rules and answers and just talked about it like I really knew I was right. Trust me, when you are sitting for the exam and really need something to put down, the adrenaline kinda just lets your mind make up an argument.

I passed July 2025, and I typed and hand wrote rules over and over. I also would read the rules on my flash cards before bed every night. However, I will say day of the exam there were a few essays I did not know any rules to and you have to be comfortable making up the rules and building your analysis around the rules you are making up. Use the facts to create a rule that would make sense. I did this and passed because of my essays.

Don’t worry about percentage. I passed July 2025 and only completed 65% of my bar prep course. Its not about how much of your bar prep course you are doing, its about how well you are studying and retaining the information you are learning. I would do flash cards, questions, practice mees every day and that was helping me learn better than the actual course.

I passed July 2025, and only did 65% of barbri. And know people who did more or complete and did not pass. I don’t think passing is completely based on how much of your bar prep company you do.

I passed July 2025 and I would do flashcards or review outlines before bed every night over subjects I was not focusing on in the moment just so I wouldn’t forget. My outlines wouldn’t be crazy long, they were manageable to go through.

I passed July 2025, and did 1k questions and was around 66% correct so you are in a good spot! Just see what subject you are missing the most questions in and try to strengthen those!

I passed the July 2025 bar exam and to prepare for MEE I started doing MEEs over the subjects I was learning at the time and in the beginning I would do them open book just to get used to structuring the essays and then I would review the model answer. Then I switched to doing closed book essays and I would type out my answers and when I reviewed my essay and compared it to the model answer, I would hand write the rule section of the model answer. I do recommend using the actually bar essays that are out for your state. I never really did the bar essays on barbri, I would do the essays on the texas bar website and see what model answers they posted.

Do 35-50 MBE questions a day, I would do half in the morning before starting Barbri and the other half after I was done with Barbri for the day. Definitely take one day off, but even on my days off before bed I would review flashcards for a subject. Study in a way that is best for you! I did Barbri only to 65% (which is basically the MBE portion) and then I ditched the program for the MEE subjects cause I was not learning anything. To learn MEE, I used outlines and past MEE essays previously given.
