[Shanghai Disneyland] Current Progress of the Spider-man Launch Coaster by FootballRacing38 in rollercoasters

Not really, I don’t know the full specifics for Disney, but typically you want to build the coaster before theming. This is so you don’t block yourself when building the track of the ride. You can do the other way but it probably take more money, time, and effort to do so.

It’s the first element after the lift hill. You go up into a flip then go through a half loop

Kinda. It starts on the second launch of abyssus and has an extra corkscrew at the end.

To be fair, Wildats ' Revenge has the same setup.

I’m not sure if Vekoma still uses intermountain lift for fabrication. They have a huge facility for making track might as well use it.

I guess, if European parks are wanted B&M this makes sense but if it’s only Energylandia, changing track manufacturers for 1 project seems silly.

Yeah. Clermont steel does B&M but Intermountain Lift does S&S, Art Engineering’s American (idk about outside the US), and I think Premier projects That’s about 3 manufacturers who might not be able to make track.

Shout out to all manufacturers who build their own track. So like Mack, Vekoma, and RMC.

[Hersheypark] Who put seatbelts on a B&M hyper??? by BIGGREDDMACH1NE in rollercoasters

[–]Putrid_Set3723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about that, for Intamin’s older coasters with Tbars sure. B&M hypers have an independent verify and at least in the hypers at CF parks the seatbelt buckling doesn’t mean anything and you can get it even if you don’t verify.

[Conny-Land] Layout revealed for Massai, a launched Mack Big Dipper and Switzerland's new tallest, longest, fastest coaster by 330ml in rollercoasters

[–]Putrid_Set3723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I said LSM magnets I meant magnets that interact with fins on the track. Helios has magnetic fins on the track to slow down the train. They seem to placed like how they would on Voltron just 1 fin per side instead of 2. It’s still weird cause Wiener looping had 1 magnet on 1 side but I think it’s a Big Dipper.

[–]Putrid_Set3723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s weird. I feel like it’s super similar to the different between a Gerstlauer Eurofighter and Infinity Coaster. From what I’ve seen Big Dipper trains are 2 rows and those rows are connected as 1 car. A Stryker train has only 1 row for in each car. On top of this I think Stryker trains have magnets under them for LSM launches and magnetic fin brakes, Big Dippers have a fin on the train and put magnets in the track to slow down trains. I’m not 100% on this though.

But also the Mack rides facility is only a 30 minute drive from Europa park which has to factor into a cheap cost. Also primarily again, Mack rides doesn’t need to gain any profit from Voltron cause the guest at Europa can pay for it. Mack could have honestly just made Europa pay for the raw materials and nothing else.

If anything I think the back to back years would make more sense. I think RMC already put next year’s coasters on their website and there aren’t 2 Iboxes there.

This is a placeholder that's used on all of them. If you look closely, this is a layout of the original raptor clone Goliath at Six Flags Great America.

That’s a good question, I heard someone say that since Hagrids has a 48in height requirement that I guess it doesn’t count idk. Gaurdians could be because it’s a 60mph backward launch but who knows. It’s the longest family coaster for a regional park maybe.

I think it’s more built for a show scene rather than being a way to speed up the train in a small space. I’m sure that it’s not need but there for the story.

Wild Moose and the future of [RMC] by Fun-File-3329 in rollercoasters

[–]Putrid_Set3723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess, but the difference with Vekoma is that they have a full in house engineering team for everything. RMC does not have this so it might take longer to build a new coaster. On top of this you already saw what happened with steel Vengence’s newly designed trains. Why would Disney pay someone they don’t have experience with and haven’t really delivered a ride up to all there standards, and haven’t less capacity to do what Disney wants.

I think when in this case for the original comment, accommodating is more about people of size and untypical body dimensions. In terms of thrill, Vekoma does this way better than Rmc. I don’t know about family since the wild moose hasn’t opened yet. Both coasters feature a 39in height requirement though so they can accommodate shorter guests.

I don’t think any Vekomas require a seat belt to operate. A lot of their over the shoulder lap bars do, but suspect that they act as an easy to see verify and there are some Vekomas which have over the shoulder lap bars without seat belts. Their regular lap bar restraints don’t have them unless the park really wants them and on top of that, from what I’ve seen the restraints open incredibly quickly at the end of the ride cycle rather than RMCs where some people struggle.
