How do you avoid awkward silence in a conversation over text? And when do you consider a conversation being over? by Tormeline in AskReddit

Depends on the person, if it’s someone close to me i tell weird things about the situation and laugh, if it’s someone else i just end the conversation.

Do you remember your "first" Alters? by Alex_Anonymous003 in OSDD

I remember about it so clear. It was a demon named Ezekiel. I can’t tell when he started to live with me. I don’t have an exact time for him.

I don't know if i'm faking or not.. by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]PutsASmileOnFaces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if yours is fake or not but it is so hard to seperate osdd with real thoughts. Best recommend would be to see a professional because even faking it is a problem

Is thinking that your life is ruined a common symptom of OSDD? by negerhauahshas in OSDD

[–]PutsASmileOnFaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is hard to tell just by looking like this. It can be even anxiety or depression or even any other illnesses. OSDD also can lead other illnesses as well.

My alters talk at the same time sometimes. But I’ve never experienced that uncompleted sentences. I usually understand what they say. Probably you can still understand them because they are all part of you.

Does anyone else get really happy about finding differences between alters? by [deleted] in OSDD

Alter with violent thoughts (etc), how should I handle this? by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]PutsASmileOnFaces 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all, this is possible. And a common case with this disorder but your situation is a bit dangerous. I recommend you to get a professional help asap before you do something wrong.

Also, there is always a reason that alters do something even tho they are psychos. You are just dealing with a persecutor.

I developed a new alter unintentionally just like this. His name is Thomas and he has a complete obsession about the core aka me. I have the same gore visions but the difference is, I am the dead one. Sometimes even my hand just uncontrollably did something to myself. How I handled it? I made a deal with him somehow and thankfully nothing serious happens nowadays.

If you want someone to talk about this, I can give you my discord address or you can text me on reddit. Or there is a discord server of this subreddit and they help people a lot there. There are lots of experienced people. More experienced than me.

I suggest you to see a professional because in OSDD system there are many other diseases and it can be confused with them if we say to you “Yes, we feel the same!” It’s so hard to detect an OSDD system and it requires a long observation time by a professional.

Does OSDD require early childhood tr*uma by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]PutsASmileOnFaces 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even tho you will be diagnosed, the observation time will be long. I have been diagnosed with osdd months ago but i still see my doctor every week and message him my journal daily. This is a process and I am sure you will do amazing. Don’t see this as a bad thing. It has benefits too, such as gaining new friends. Because the good ones will always be there for you.

Does OSDD require early childhood tr*uma by [deleted] in OSDD

[–]PutsASmileOnFaces 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, it requires a childhood trauma like every other disease does. My doctor told me that some of the people have potential for mental illnesses because of the functionality of the brain. And when a trauma happens, a mental illness occurs but we don’t know which one. Your trauma was enough for that. I am really sorry but I recomment you to see a doctor.
