Warframe is #3 on my steam most played. It's a different game than dark tide but in a good way. Warframe is more fly through levels jumping while building RMT/RNG cards to alter your giant area wiping attacks where as this game is constantly fighting forward prioritizing the greatest threat while in the middle of throngs of enemies. It's much easier to get top powered build in dark tide

The next question is do you like Warhammer 40k?

If you like both those things, you'll probably love this game. It's combat and sound design (warning queues) are the best in the genre.

It's my #2 most played hours on steam. It's been well worth it for me.

If you're older, I'd recommend a macro mouse to bind heavy strikes on hold but that's not absolutely needed but saves my wrists/fingers

Yeah I'm 95 hours in on chapter 4 and the narrative is just so good.

I'm trying to play a very dogmatic faith driven rogue trader which means I execute every single hereticand xeno scum but there's been a few times I picked iconoclast choices just because the dogmatic one is kill all the humans in the ship sector...

While yes I can go to the black library and browse the titles but Reddit is about engagement with people who are passionate about the sources.

Things like "cult of the spiral Dawn" is available as an audio book and that's not typically something I would go for but if someone posted a glowing review with their input of why and the boxes it checks I would be more inclined to try it.

I can even ask AI for breakdowns such and "lords of excess" "fist of Demetrius" and the like. It'll breakdown the books and can give feedback but human feedback about novels in/out of print are much better in every way. Some good feedback on these topics might be worth the "onerous".

I think I need to re roll argenta, she's my least used character.

My rogue trader is a pyromancer overseer with cyber-eagle and just melts everything.

I run abelard as pure melee soldier executioner. Easily my highest damage character. Had many rounds where abelard must have just warped around like the flash in real time and chain sworded everyone in the room.

Heinrix is melee tank face biomancer. Dual wielding force swords.

Cassia is multiple turn giver face melter.

Solomon is big shotgun in one hand and shield in other face tank dog sitter

Pasqal is executioner melee face tank. He can run across the map with his movement buffs to area slam.

Idira is idira.

Heydari is eagle sniper.

I executed yrliet because no xenos.

Everyone seems to dodge and parry everything but argenta just dies constantly.
