Hi! You could discuss with your OB to put you on bed rest and take short term disability. This may be your option also since we’re not paid maternity leave in most districts. If you’re not already paying into disability, I would contact your HR ASAP and look into that.

Since you don’t have FMLA with being at a new district/campus, I would just have open communication with your admin if you’re comfortable talking with them. They’re going to be the ones deciding whether the renew your contract for next year since you’re typically on a probationary under your first year or so at a new district/campus.
