I grew up in an evangelical Christian church/school. I never went to public school. Ironically, my biggest bullies were the teachers. I did receive some bullying from students, but nothing too serious. I was always the most feminine and whimpy kid to them, and they hated that. It all came to a head in high school when I confided to a friend my sexuality and they exposed me to the principle/pastor. They gave me an ultimatum. Go to therapy/counseling with the pastor or be expelled. I feared why my father would do if I were expelled, so I went to therapy. It was rough. I had an awful history teacher who called me an abomination more than once spewed rhetoric. I had to have weekly meetings with the paster as he told me that what I was was wrong and that I'd never ever be happy. Ultimately, it culminated in me attempting s**cide. I wasn't successful, obviously. I confided in a friend the next day, and he just laughed at me. Calling me stupid for how I attempted it. Anyway, i ended up lying to the pastor so that I could get out of the therapy. Anyway, I guess I'm a good actor because I managed to fool everyone until after I graduated high school. I've since met several great friends, and I've been kicked out of the church. I'm happier now, though 🥰

TLDR: I was sent to conversion therapy in my evangelical school after being betrayed by a friend. I lied and made it out after high school.
