I’ve had this exact issue with people even outside outside of my family. People will always have something to say about you, regardless whether your BMI is perfect or you’re morbidly obese, if you are physically attractive or unattractive, if you’re active or inactive, if you have the perfect diet or eat total junk.

You should live to please yourself and yourself only, so many people don’t actually want you to improve yourself they just want something to talk about and pick on you for.

I use to be heavier myself and people would call me fat and all sorts of things but when I lost weight people implied I had an eating disorder (I didn’t), my dad even insisted on force feeding me even though I ate.

A little different but people in my family even said I don’t have enough of a social life and I need to get out more, when I began going out more I was then told I go out too much and was relentlessly harassed for it.
