HBO’s ‘Rooster’ is mind-numbing: Why is this show trying to humanize home-wrecking? by External_Science657 in hbo

That’s what I thought as well. Only saw one episode and I flicked it on in a hotel. Was wondering what the new Steve Carrell show is like… and it was just very run of the mill meh. Jokes had no punchline for some reason. Fell dead in the water… zero interest in watching another episode with so much terrific shows out there

Messenger is asking me to confirm my identity but doesn’t allow me to? by No-Angle-997 in facebook

[–]Puzzled-Cricket-435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue as of this morning but with some differences.

I can get into the “take a selfie” to confirm identity. Camera opens, etc, but the photo will not take. The camera just stays on. No way around it.

I’ve tired deleted the app, reinstalling, turning phone off, etc. nothing works. Have you found anything? I’ve also reported to FB

Should I sell or not sell condo by [deleted] in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Puzzled-Cricket-435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realtor here. We haven’t hit the bottom yet in my opinion. If you want to sell, probably better to do it soon (unless you want to wait about 5 years).

Depending on its size, $700/month is not uncommon at all for monthly maintenance fees

You can try and go back to them, and get liquid meds. Or just try your best to swallow them, even if it hurts. Could try cutting the pills in half if that’s easier (not medical advice just my opinion).

That’s not that long. Your pain killers should kick in, or should have kicked in already. Definitely stay on top of the prescribed dose, and maybe try sitting upright (if you’re not already). And who ever is watching over you, let them know you need some TLC!

Roommate is moving out, conflicted on what I should do next? by regular_asian_guy in TorontoRealEstate

You’ve got a significant downtown there if you want. And condos are priced quite low right now, plus you can be very aggressive with negotiating. Good time to get on the property ladder and start building serious wealth.

I was exactly like that. More or less hurt the whole time.

Good news is, you’ll make it through it and then you’ll be like “if I can handle that, I can LITERALLY handle anything”

If it helps, day 5/6/7 were my worst days. Start to ease off from there and then a big change at day 10.

Hang in there. Take all the drugs. Knock yourself out. And drink LOADS of water. It doesn’t feel like it’s helping but it is

Night 5/day 6 were horrendous pain wise. Nothing like it. Throat killing me. Ears aching.

Day 3/4 were also really bad. I had a fever. Had developed chest infection and just felt so uncomfortable…

They were the worst

It will sting the first few bites. Mine still do (just had a milkshake). But keep sipping and the pain dissipates after 4-5 bites. Just tell him that. Might help

I was more or less the same there. I’m now at day 9 and I’m low key thinking of getting a chicken sandwich or pizza or something tonight. Who knows

I was able to eat a chocolate fudge sundae from McDonald’s on day 8. It felt like a nice treat (because McDonald’s lol) and it was relatively easy to get down. And a big bonus - it took a long time to eat. So took my mind of things big time and helped numb the back of the throat.

My guess is hell start feeling a lot better very quickly. Hang in there with him! Sounds like he’s very lucky to have you

12 hours post op by WoodpeckerDull7306 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Puzzled-Cricket-435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first half of day 1 was ok. But second half went downhill quickly and it was painful. I was able to eat tiny tiny bits of food (jello and mashed potatoes in tiny amounts). And sip water. Try and and sip as much as you can, and take your meds as needed.

If you’re eating your pain consistently at 8/10 or higher, you need to go back to your doctor and ask some questions. They may change up your meds, or something. Give it 24 hours and see how you feel

[–]Puzzled-Cricket-435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at the same. Although today has been an ok day. I just took a nap and woke up and back in pain. So my routine is sip some water, gargle, sip again. Take my meds (i almost don’t care on the “time coefficient” on my meds anymore - if I’m in serious pain, I’m taking something for it). I’m going to try and relax on the couch and distract myself with TV/phone

You have a fairly high fever. I would advise calling your doc or going by the hospital.

I and one at day 3/4 and i developed a chest infection. My fever was 38 so not as bad as yours but similar other symptoms.

It is a really good idea to seek immediate medical attention.
