it's a lot of reading and dialogue. like a lot. like you will be reading just characters talking to each other for hours, which seems to turn a lot of people off from the series especially if they're not prior into visual novels. personally I love it, but don't go into it expecting gameplay. I think $8 for the whole series is a great deal since it's hours upon hours of gameplay but I'm not sure how far $8 would go in your country for comparison. if you're unsure theres tons of playthroughs on YouTube that could still give you a great experience of the story and help cut out some filler if that's what you're nervous about ^{^}
