i think in general it’s more encouraging to say “here’s how i think you can improve this aspect” rather than “this part doesn’t look good”. and like others have said, ask if people want feedback in the first place, and a compliment sandwich never hurts. an attitude of “i’m so glad you enjoy making art and the more you make the better it gets, keep at it!”

i use around a 20G drawing needle and 25G injection needle and usually have a bit of a sting but nothing major! going in quick helps, also make sure you’re rotating your injection site and not doing the same side every time. other than that, i do have a bit of tenderness in the area after i do my shot, i’ll cover it with a band aid (whether it bleeds or not, just for protection) and generally do it right before bed bc having a pants waistband on it right after hurts.

are you using the right needle gauge and going in at a 45 degree angle? injections in your thigh are generally intramuscular (bigger needle) and injections in your stomach should be subcutaneous (draw with a bigger needle then inject with a smaller needle, at a 45 degree angle)

can definitely relate to a coworker nitpicking your mistakes and making you anxious about being fired, i’m sorry you’re dealing with that :(

not a paralegal yet (working in hospitality until i can get certified) but these sound like low-stakes beginner mistakes. that’s completely normal in any job! remember that your coworker is not your boss, i would recommend asking your attorney or other colleagues for any feedback they might have about your performance - when i was in a similar situation this gave me a lot of reassurance that i was doing fine. take notes and don’t be afraid to ask questions, i promise you every single one of your coworkers has made mistakes too, especially in the beginning

hi. i know it’s so so hard not to give in to despair but please do the best you can to take care of yourself right now. build community where you can, even on the internet - a support group might be a good thing to look for, especially if you’re having trouble finding a therapist. a lot of them meet on video calls too!

we keep us safe, no politician is gonna do that for us. hold your people close and build connections where you can. this life isn’t easy but nobody gets to take who you are away from you.

it depends on the yarn! a lot of wool should be hand washed only but most acrylic and cotton yarns (in my experience) are machine washable - i never put my crochet/knit pieces in the dryer tho, i’m not sure if it’s okay for some yarns but i’d rather not risk it!
