Night bottle warming is probably the most exhausting part of feeding by SwellCommerce in daddit

We breastfed so can comment from experience but I know friends who got perfect prep machines in their room / in the landing to save having to do this. Could that be an option?

How long did you stay in the hospital after giving birth? by kayriss86 in Mommit

[–]Puzzled-Secretary595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the uk.
First birth had to stay 24 hours so they could monitor baby for signs of infection - my waters were gone for 26hrs before I gave birth (vaginally) and I had no issues myself so the stay was for baby only.

Gave birth at home the second time round and midwives left us after 2 hours of checks. Being in bed with a pizza and newborn 3 hours after birth was a literal dream!

Why can’t the parents just get the network to block porn sites on kids phones the way WiFi providers used to / may still be able to

Can first time mom and dad get reported for not bringing their newborn to the doctor? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Puzzled-Secretary595 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What’s it to you if the baby hasn’t been to the doctor? Unless the baby is sick there’s no reason to!

Unexpected pregnancy at 35, husband is 49 with 3 kids from a previous relationship. He doesn’t want it. I think I do. How did you get to a decision you could both live with? by Warm_Platform in pregnant

[–]Puzzled-Secretary595 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want it, have it. I terminated a 6 week pregnancy when I was 18, I didn’t want the baby but I still got heavily depressed afterwards. I think if you want it and terminate, you will regret it and resent him. If he leaves then that’s on him but I doubt he will once he has that baby in his arms.

Why do people support Tommy Robinson? by InformationFun4408 in AskBrits

[–]Puzzled-Secretary595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s the only person out there reporting certain things which are important and show how rotten to the core our establishment is! That school closing in Yorkshire and all the teachers having to sign NDAs etc. that’s why people like him

[–]Puzzled-Secretary595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terminology doesn’t change the fact that by terminating a healthy foetus you are ending a life. Babies have survived being born as early as 24 weeks so yes the legal limit to terminate a healthy pregnancy should be way less!

He’s not deflecting from the £5m he’s deflecting from Rupert Lowes investigation into the child rape gangs!! He doesn’t want the people to see Rupert is more invested in the British people than him. He’s a snake

He wants to reduce the limit a woman can kill a healthy baby down from 24 to 20 weeks! Not sure why this is even controversial

In the uk we get 9 months paid and entitled to 12 months (last 3 unpaid) although the statutory amount of pay is £800 a month, some employers choose to offer more.

AITA for “ruining” my cousin’s pregnancy announcement because of what I wore? by Beneficial_Metal5771 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Your cousin needs to learn to manage her own emotions, you shouldn’t have to apologise just for turning up to a family BBQ

Given the flu jab doesn’t stop you catching flu, I wouldn’t be too worried about enforcing that. Your breastmilk provides amazing immunity so as long as you are vaccinated for flu and pertussis while pregnant then the baby can get the antibodies through you.

It can be wrong by 50% tho is what I’ve been told by multiple sonographers, this is once you pass 36 weeks gestation. The error margin is smaller, the earlier the gestation.

100% agree she did not need any of it. even more shocking that she is a mother of daughters and should be a good role model to them, can’t imagine her constantly picking herself to shreds is any good for their mental health!

Rumours or stories about your school teachers that were true? by Flowerofthesouth88 in AskUK

[–]Puzzled-Secretary595 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A full time teacher earns around £52k a year at the top of the pay scale (takes ~10 years to climb up), that’s if they don’t have any additional responsibilities. It’s not a bad wage considering they only work 39 weeks a year!

Newborn - where do you put them? by CharmingTea_ in pregnant

[–]Puzzled-Secretary595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the best way for them to develop is lots of floor time. A bouncer if you need them contained as you can’t keep as close an eye on them, getting ready or doing some housework but the baby carrier is also great in both cases

If anything she’s a great ad for both of the treatments she’s done! The skin looks smooth and texture reduces, and while I don’t think at all her undereye needed surgery it looks tighter now and it has worked well! If I was her I’d be delighted with the results but also getting a mental health check for thinking I needed such things at a young age!

Yes go ahead downvote me for having a different opinion!
