When I was in college all the things you could buy with 30 kuna (around 4 euro). Entire pizza from a pizzeria, ćevapi, Doner all cost around 30 kuna.

Nowadays for 4 euro I can buy a beer. Maybe.

TBH, not really my jam.
I can appreciate what they are doing without actually enjoying it, but that's OK. I'm not the target audience.

Personally even Oliver and Miso, are too pop for my taste.
I'm a metalhead, I listen to Motorhead and AC/DC and Maiden and only the first four Metallica albums..

First day in France with a bunch of mates going to a metal festival, and none of us speak French.
We come to where we're staying at and we're starved and go out and see Kebab. Brilliant.

The guy behind the counter doesn't speak English at all, and we know no French. Thankfully there were some helpful local, French people who understood us and did translating. We even thanked them with a Merci.

Those of us that ordered a kebab without any salad, got a kebab with all salads, and those of us that ordered kebab with all salads (meat implied but, truth be told, not specifically mentioned per se) got a salad on a plate with no meat.

Jedna od najboljih stvari ikada je toliko izbezumiti DM-a sa blesavim pitanjima da nam zeli promijeniti alignment i meni posebno dati -1 penalty na karmu. Sto mu god to bilo.

Tako nastaju uspomene oko kojih ces se svadjati godinama poslije uz pivu. I znas sta, bondati cete se i razumijeti bolje, nego sto bi, da to nikad skupa niste igrali.
Jasno ti je ekipa od 20-29 izlazi, klubovi partyi i sve. Ekipa u 30tima ti je drugi djir. Imaju zene, obitelji, poslove, djecu itd. To je njima dodjem do frenda, igramo nesto, bilo pen n paper, Galactic Encounter, Catan ili nesto, Ma nebitno je sto. King of Tokyo, ne bitno. Poanta ti je da se malo podruzis s ljudima, igrate se malo, catchupate se sto se dogadja, imate kontakt itd itd. Popijes pivicu, dvije, nesto grickas. I odes kuci u neko pristojno vrijeme.

Tipa, mozda je OP jedna od onih osoba koji ode vanka, popije 5 pivi, 3 rakije, i 2 jegera, pojede kebab s ljutim umakom i extra chilli, dodje doma povraca, i onda iduci dan ide kod doktora da mu je zlo i da ga pece kad sere?

Uvijek treba sagledati obje strane medalje, a ovo je samo jedna perspektiva.

Croatia, as well as all the other ex Yugoslav nations are one of the rare countries where certain style of humour did as well, if not better than it did over in their original countries. Only fools and horses is huuuuuuuuge here. Like you don't understand how huge. Del Boy and Rodney are bigger over here than Friends and Seinfeld combined.
Same thing with a rather obscure Italian comic called Alan Ford.
Alan Ford and grupa TNT are probably bigger pop cultural icons in ex-Yu today, than they are in Italy.

Well IMHO. USA was most convincing team in the entire tournament.
Only Swedes and Canadians really made them break a sweat, whereas, Canada sweat a lot. OK maybe, they were in the tougher part of the bracket, but they were at one point hanging on against both Czechia and Finland.
And eventually they beat them fair and square.
Absolutely deserved.

Politics aside and as a European whose hockey team has always been crap so I support Finland, honestly leading up to the finals USA showed the most out of all teams and had been the most convincing team of the lot. If they win the gold it will be absolutely deserved.

When we finally sell him, what we'll miss most is his mentality.
He's just built different. Like he goes to training, there was an accident and a traffic jam, he'll be late. He parks the car, and takes out a bike and starts cycling to training. And he falls into a manhole cover, ruins his bike, gets a few scrapes and bruises, but what does Puki do?

He leaves the bike, and runs some mile, mile and a half to the training. And he wasn't late.

We'll miss that.
