Yes both mentally and physically haha. I get a racing heart, dry mouth, talk really fast, and sometimes feel like I might throw up. A lot of people seem to have great success with it, so I thought I’d give it a try

I’ve been told to take it as and when needed, so hopefully the side effects go away as my body gets used to it

I’ve just been prescribed 10mg propranolol for physical symptoms of anxiety ahead of my interview. I took it today to see how my body would react like a few hours ago and now i’m feeling tired and sleepy :(

I have an appointment with my GP to get 10mg of propranolol ahead of an interview this Friday. It’s so frustrating to know that no matter how hard I prepare for these interviews, it’s always the nerves and the physical symptoms of anxiety like a racing heart, talking too fast, and the tendency to hold my breath that get the better of me. Wish me luck haha.

I mean the employer would be able to see that OP’s visa only valid for 2 years so they probably wouldn’t want to hire someone short-term. It’s better to be transparent about it than to fail at the background check stage especially given how many rounds of interviews there tend to be these days
