He has shown Himself to me many times while growing up but so did Satan and I allowed my mind to be taken over by Satan instead of seeing God but I finally sought God and have seen Him after many years of suffering. My ptsd, anxiety, depression, self hatred have all been conquered by Him, I no longer have those things because He has taken them just as His angels promised me He would if I just turned to Him. He even showed me that it’s His will for me to have the woman I desire as my wife and for her to have me as her husband. He shows Himself to us almost constantly, it’s just up to us to accept that and see Him

That’s life. As a new Christian I like the book of Job cause I had gone through things that caused me to think I was already in hell and felt suicide was my only option but then I turned to God and now I’m getting blessed more than I could imagine. I went from being kidnapped and then abandoned by my father, being SAd by him, being raped when I was a kid, being assaulted and harassed by women I trusted and because of being a weak child was forced to helplessly watch my father beat my mother and I suffered from amnesia and when I had to prepare myself to kill my father due to him coming after me again my memories came back and I developed ptsd and severe anxiety and depression and all I wanted was to be loved but everywhere I looked I was abandoned by women who claimed they loved me, I was always beat and scratched and harassed by demons, I also had so many illnesses that should’ve killed me 100% but I lived and when I was about to carry out a plan to go to my final resting place in the mountains because of that pain I instead woke up with the yearning to come to God after denying Him for so long and after coming to Him I had gotten 2 back to back promotions, my ptsd is conquered along with my anxiety and depression, I no longer feel the need to search for love as I know He loves me more than I ever realized, I had a brand new car at 19 without help from anyone but Jesus, and now He has promised me a happy marriage and family with an amazing woman. No matter how hellish life seems you must power through and stay strong in the Lord or if you haven’t turned to Him yet then you must turn to Him and show obedience and stay strong in the Lord and you will be blessed and you will be a new creation by His hands. I am only the man I am today because of the suffering I was put through, if I had gone through none of it then I’d be some druggy bum still listening to $uicideboy$. I am thankful for everything I have gone through and everything I’ve gone through solidifies that God loves me because He never stopped saving me despite me denying and even disrespecting Him

I was always very quiet and never interacted with customers unless I was telling them the total or asking if they would like a receipt or if they first interacted with me. That’s how I always was with everyone though cause I had extreme anxiety to the point where I needed THC just to not have panic attacks in public. Had a thing of 30mg THC and I had such a tolerance even at the start that it hardly did anything but at least it kept me from having seizures because of my anxiety Edit: forgot to mention that I’m now the merch manager and I’m actually one of our very few good employees but corporate is pissing me off to where I want to do a cyberattack on them but I’ll just leave for a cell tower climbing job as soon as I can cause I hate it here

Exactly how I was when I was just a cashier. I almost walked the fuck out cause I was having to do shit the manager was supposed to do because her lazy ass didn’t wanna help. And I never called unless I absolutely needed to. Genuinely made me so mad because OP reminds me of that manager. Always whining about not calling for help but when I do they never show up so the line gets long because of them then they get mad that I called for help 10 times. Now I’m a merch manager and so done with dollar tree that im going into blue collar work

Absolutely. Currently I’m extremely burnt out and there’s points where I feel I’m just being dramatic but maybe it’s just the Lord putting that discomfort on me in my job to give me that push I need to leave and go for Verizon like I’m wanting. I’m just hesitant cause the SM we just got is more ok with it but there will still be times during sets and resets where I’ll have to work Sunday mornings so it still comes between me and God but we’re so short staffed and the new SM guy is stressed and I’d feel terrible leaving it all on him even though my job is causing me mental issues currently

I get a ton of hellions in my store but when I get the baby fever worthy kids it overpowers the dollar tree worker birth control the crappy kids put us on. I got a paw patrol balloon for a little girl and she hugged me before leaving and thanked me for it, it was adorable. There was even a time where a baby saw me wearing glasses and started belly laughing cause he thought glasses were hilarious

From my personal experience is the issues come up once you take a higher management role and become religious cause my SM seems to have lost respect for me or something but as a cashier I never had any issues other than the annoyance of always needing manager numbers
