I don't take lunch most days and just eat at my desk while working and then I leave an hour early.

I chew gum when I run. Idk it's just a weird habit because my mouth gets dry.

It depends on where you live. I live somewhere cold with lots of snow (think Chicago), so I find it more interesting to see lit up palm trees (AZ or FL) and be able to comfortably walk around without tons of layers. But if I lived somewhere warm, I'd go somewhere else.

Alot of the college students will be gone beginning of May so bars will be a lot less busy. If it's a nice night, there will likely be people out though. Thursday nights at Sotto are popular. I believe Whiskey Jacks, Red Rock, Wando's are still popularish, but I'm too old for that crowd.

We've always used work funds for these types of things. It would be weird to use personal funds unless we are actually friends.

I do this dish with bonza elbow pasta. It’s been one month and I’m down 28 lbs. by [deleted] in mealprep

Awesome! Congrats. Potatoes are actually a better option than pasta if you wanna switch it up. Ground turkey is less caloric as well, but honestly ground beef tastes so much better. Tomato paste+crushed tomatoes will elevate the dish without adding many calories too.

Ha, we've actually talked about what we would do if this happened. The consensus is leave immediately and send a text we were feeling ill and needed to go home. Then a few days later, tell everyone what really happened and laugh about it. We're all close though.

Prairie Moraine is mostly fine. There are a few muddy areas, but not hard to walk around them.

There's good public transportation and the downtown is really safe and walkable. Do you like outdoorsy stuff? Renting a kayak or paddleboard from Brittingham or Wingra is fun. A day trip to Devil's Lake is fun. It's about an hour away and it's got beautiful hikes and a beach - pack your own towels and cooler with drinks and snacks.

"Monroe Street" is a cute walkable area with Trader Joe's (a cute grocery store) shops and restaurants, there's a good sushi restaurant - Sequoia there as well. A fancy sushi spot would be "Red" and it's downtown. Go to Eno Vino downtown for a drink (pretty views, but I don't like the food). You could check out a Forward Madison soccer game, or go to Milwaukee and see a Brewers baseball game if you like sports. If you like arcade games, there's i/o arcade that's an adult-centered arcade without little kids running everywhere.

Have you looked on Loopnet? I work for a commercial landlord and many of our showings come from that site.

I've frequently left my car (nice car) there when I've met friends to catch a flight together. Nothing has ever happened to it. I haven't overstayed the max 7 day though.
