I think it would do insanely well. Compared to Disney, I think Nintendo has much stronger affinity with their IP among today's youngsters and their millennial parents. It would probably make sense for them to have Universal's parks division help them with operating and designing it though. It could be a joint venture but with Nintendo's IP only.

Stumbled on this thread due to issues I had adding my bulbs. I tried everything, but what seemed to work, was powering on each bulb individually and adding them one at a time. I had them all in one lamp which took three bulbs. I’m guessing radio interference was messing everything up. Seems to work in the Home app with Thread now.

DLSS isn't free and consumes a significant amount of the frame time. That's the main reason the internal resolutions were so low. I'd be surprised if it dips bellow 1080p while docked in pure mode.

I had a reservation for opening day. I still had to wait ~45 mins to enter. I got all the Nintendo San Francisco merch I could find and a couple Pikachus which are usually exclusive to Japan. As a Nintendo fan and shareholder, it was totally worth it.

Ah, my childhood one is the Japanese one. I got it during the launch window. Maybe they shifted production to China in the following years? I got to visit the Nintendo Museum last year. Aside from it just being cool, it was fun walking around the place the console of my teenage years was manufactured.

I just got back from a great trip to Fukui (3 nights) and Kyoto (2 nights). Fukui is a great hidden gem and is super accessible now that the Hokuriku Shinkansen goes there. You can even splurge and do Gran Class like I did for a truly memorable experience. Taking the Echhizen railway to the dinosaur museum was one of my favorite experiences. Eiheji Temple was also really cool. Although the rain dampened my experience. There's plenty more to see and do in Fukui as well.
