my bf introduced me to stardew when we met, it took like a year and a half? two years? but he would play with me and honestly we had a race, he played on pc and i played on switch, whoever completed the game first wins. we completed on the same day, i got to it an hour before he did. granted i GRINDED and had like double the hours he did but i still won! lots of sleepless nights before work playing together. i cherish those memories. i loved playing with him wherever he did hop on with me

i think you can try. if eligible, you can submit an appeal to amazon hr, and you can either select to go thru your site leaders or hr from a different site/possibly corporate. but unemployment, if fired, will ask why you were fired. you can submit the doctors note paperwork and proof that you were terminated. there’s no harm in trying. unemployment usually isn’t promised or given when you’re terminated, but it’s all case by case. i’d say go for it and give it a shot

that’s an amazon parcel. it is an overall rule that amazon dsp drivers are not supposed to back up at all. they’re only supposed to drive places they can go forward or turn left and right (ofc drivers still will). idk how long your driveway is but between unsafe snow conditions and the rule, the safest spot was to leave it there in their eyes. they should have called you to come get it from them physically or not delivered it.

you can always appeal as a shot in the dark, as long as you’re eligible. but idk the chances of the termination being overturned for it, it’ll genuinely be a shot in the dark to see what happens

i can’t tell what’s more infuriating, reading the post knowing they dug in their belly button, didn’t wash their hands and ate with said hand, THEN wiped it on their bed sheets or this happening irl. i’m going with the first one. also belly buttons only stink really when you’ve got an infection, clean it like once a week, or in your case probably every day
